Gosh, this thread is still going despite my not posting for 24 hours? Is it still my fault?

And; the most talked about team in Volley Talk; goes to--- GO HUSKERS Nope: just this thread; just this year. Since I began reading VT ~2 years ago, and since starting to post 14 months back, the #1 discussed team has been TX (and L. Sun). You noticed, I left it blank? GO HUSKERS

(Since this is the most recent - plus only - NCAA match 'til August....) Just watched the first set once more - REALLY dissecting it; as I used to do, from experience - three things Really stood out: 1) Service aces by SU (5): without those, Stanford loses said set; 2) SEs by the 'Huskers: some came at crucial times; 3) Hitting errors by NE: esp. a net violation; again, at Most inopportune moments. The match goes 3-1 (at least) to Neb if they had won that set. They outperformed SU, statistically, throughout the match. SEs & SAs Were Critical in the crucial 5th set, also!

Nebraska lost at their own game, serve and serve receive Nebraska 2018 and 2019 will be the best teams never to win a National Championship Bold (but wrong) assertion. Without even looking at other teams, Nebraska 2005 and 2007 were both better than either Nebraska 2018 or (projected) 2019.

Nebraska lost at their own game, serve and serve receive Nebraska 2018 and 2019 will be the best teams never to win a National Championship Based on what? Besides Stivrins, there are no other returning All Americans for Nebraska. While other teams have multiple returning high level players.

I still believe there is a narrow path that could yield a title ... Unfortunately, there are tall trees that may block that path ...
