That set one was tough to watch. We were leading most of the set then Stanford came back and had 3 set points, 24-21. We managed to tie it up with Foecke and Stivrins scoring but when they got to the back row no one could even score. I think Sun had 2 HE during those run and costed us the set (and maybe even the match). I'm really looking forward to watch Lexi this season. I think that she's already solid in defense (need a little work on serve receive) but we need her offense more than ever. I can't wait for tomorrow!

Omg..... I just watched the Stanford championship match again on YouTube...... Knife 2 my heart........ WE HAD THEM! Game 1: 0 kills, 4 errors on 11 swings. Thanks, Lexi. I am too new to these boards to lay the sarcasm on heavy, but such a post really does deserve max sarcasm. The team had many errors in many facets of the game and in multiple positions, even still had many opportunities to win and didn't finish out, instead letting Stanford steal sets.

She was however the only Husker to have 0 kills and 4 errors on 11 swings in the set that cost them the national title. Dude get a life

I wouldn't blame it on Lexi. McClure was offensively silent that night as well. Both teams had a great middleand decent second middle. Campbell balled out, Callie didn't. Fitz played great, sweet didn't. Mikalea foecke is one of the best NCAA players of all time but that match was really her and Stivrins vs every single Stanford player who showed up except McClure which was only offensively.

Sun gave Nebraska scoring runs with her serve that pretty much put Nebraska in a position to compete. Without those runs, Stanford would have had an easier win.

She was however the only Husker to have 0 kills and 4 errors on 11 swings in the set that cost them the national title. You could just as easily say Hames made bad choices going back to her after a slow start. Saying Lexi cost them the title is a weak take.

Not worth discussing. All that matters is the next point.

She was however the only Husker to have 0 kills and 4 errors on 11 swings in the set that cost them the national title. As opposed to some anonymous keyboard athlete who played no part in a single Husker victory the entire season. Stay classy sitting on your ass typing away.
