I like the way things are shaping up for the Huskers: You play 2 'Top 10' teams which should expose most of your faults that you need to work on pre-tourny; then have 2 solid teams to work on your overall game. A good regimen for this team at this time. I think they are fully aware of what their challenges are, but I do like that they get some great road challenges heading into tournament.

A top ten team beating another top ten team is a SUPER bold prediction? I mean if we are ignoring the last match up of these two teams that wasn’t all that long ago then no it’s not super bold. You would have to be a homer to honestly believe Nebraska will win. Now I’m not saying they absolutely can’t win. I’m saying that if you actually believe Nebraska will beat Wisconsin you’re a homer. since Nebraska has joined the B1G... Huskers are .500 in Madison going 3/6 Huskers are .615 vs Wisc in regular season play going 8 out of 13 Wisc has never taken both regular season matches Huskers have won both times they have met in Nov and both times it was @ Madison Huskers are .861 in the month of Nov, going 62 out of 72 Huskers are .974 in the month of Nov from 2015 til present day, going 37 out of 38 with only a loss to Minnie 2016 to keep from a perfect Nov record. The win in Lincoln wasn't that bad to suggest that Wisc is just too dominate, which correlates with Wisc's loss to Ohio St. just a couple of weeks ago Only 4 teams have hit .200 or better vs Huskers this year...only Wisc has hit .300 or better... Meanwhile, Wisc has 8 matches that the opponent hit .200 or better, including Nebraska hitting .336 and Washington hitting .457...every Wisc losses had Wisc hitting less than .290 while their opponent needed only to hit .268 (exception of Ohio St. who only hit .170 & won). So, given the history, who is the homer? And why would you go to a Husker thread to object to Huskers being optimistic in their chances in winning their last 4 matches? It isn't like someone was proclaiming some falsehoods about Wisc that needed to be corrected....

Sorry. Truly.

As we gear up for the tournament, what are your predictions on what seed we will get and what regional do you want us to land in?

As we gear up for the tournament, what are your predictions on what seed we will get and what regional do you want us to land in? Anywhere but Stanford. As for seed, let's talk hypotheticals.....let's say hypothetically that we win out. Our rpi should be around 4/5 I think. What if Creighton plays and beats Marquette again in their conference tournament (possibly giving us a slight boost in RPI)? Then we'd be at least co-B1G champs, 3 losses, rpi very likely in 4-5 range, and some pretty good wins with no bad losses. Would it be enough to jump Pitt?

As we gear up for the tournament, what are your predictions on what seed we will get and what regional do you want us to land in? With the W tonight, lowest seed we get is 7. If Nebraska wins on Sunday and next weekend, I think they’ll get the 5 seed. The regional I would want the team to go is the Baylor (won’t happen) or Pitt regional (very possible). Although, the one regional I don’t want Nebraska to go to is Stanford 😬 Additionally, I think the Texas regional would have the most sick atmosphere. It’d be crazy! But also don’t wanna head there bc they have the most firepower of who will probs be the top 4

Pitt won’t acquire any more losses though, so I think it will be pretty tough to not let them host.

Btw, love what coach Cook said in the locker room, “Everybody played great, everybody played poor, everybody bounced back but you know what, you did it as a team.”
Hopefully lessen those strings of “deer-in-the-headlights” look when they’re down, but I love how this team fight. GBR!

They were going through the motions without fight or focus that’s why I love Stivrins talking to them (reminds me of Joseph(?) from FL a few years back) and basically energizing and giving a huge spark for the team.

Pitt could still get beat by Louisville and if not, that probably keeps Louisville out of the top 25.
there is a lot of settling left to be done.

If I’m not mistaken this is Lexi’s first win against Minnesota in her collegiate career. I remember Texas losing to the Gophers in her freshman year and last year as well.
