Is AD Bill Moos living on borrowed time? He just got the dreaded vote of confidence. I heard he gave Miles a vote of confidence! GO HUSKERS

Moos is fine. Some idiot just on social media was trying to throw shade his way. I thought a vote of confidence was a good thing! GO HUSKERS Is he doing a good job? Our sports programs over all are a pretty much struggling except for volleyball. Sure football has promise but we aren't there and won't be next year. Men's hoops is quickly playing themselves into the NIT, women's bball is horrible again, women's gymnastics is consistently top 6-10 but doesn't win championships. Track and field was supposed to do well in the B1G and hasn't. Word around town in Omaha is big donors aren't happy with Moos and the overall direction of the athletic program. If you take a step back and look at our overall program, our facilities we have to offer student athletes, Husker athletics have lost our swag. Big time!

So how can they (donors) access his job performance over the short time he has been in charge? Both basketball teams had success season last year. He hired Frost and fans knew it was going to take time to turn things around in football. If he needs to make changes in coaches I am sure he will.

I think Frost will fix the football program but the basketball programs needs a miracle! Gymnastics is healthy! Volleyball is healthy, but will be difficult to replace the seniors. Only one Sr. this year ouch! Team is still very young; though talented! We need a lot of maturity to complement Lauren Stivrins! GO HUSKERS

Hard to judge Moos's performance after just over a year. He's only had a chance to make one coaching hire, and he got the guy everyone wanted in football. I think the trend is up.
Men's basketball is fast becoming a train wreck and he will have a big decision to make at the end of the season. Women's hoops has been a disappointment this year but it's impossible to blame either of those team's struggles on Moos. He didn't hire either coach. His handling of these two programs will tell us a lot about how his tenure is viewed. Football of course is the big kahuna but these other two higher-profile programs will impact his legacy.
I'm just happy that John Cook has had enough stature and success that Pedersen and Eichorst kept their hands off the VB program.

Everyone knows Moos was a temp hire to do 1 thing, which he did. Now that that's done nothing will surprise me as to what becomes of his fate.

Certainly at his age he's not the long term answer. Does he hang around for a couple more years and groom someone to take over?

Rumor has it that Moos has been on the hot seat for behavioral issues, not necessarily sports performance. He has been on the job for barely a year. There’s no way you can judge an AD in that amount of time. But if there truly are behavior issues that could certainly get you tossed in that amount of time.

I lived in Oregon when Bill Moos was AD up at UO. His 'head-butting' w/ Phillip Knight (Nike: MAJOR donor) was legendary in the state. He's a "floater": Many AD-AAD gigs.
