I'm sorry but these lifting pics don't look real to me. I thought the same when I saw Lauren's but didn't say anything. There just isn't the least amount of strain shown by either of them.

They are, in all likelihood, currently dropping the bar. That's probably why they look like they aren't giving any effort.

Why isn't Lexi Sun playing beach? She's not listed on the pairs for tomorrow's matches? I read either in the LJS or OWH that Lexi is being held out of early beach ball competition to rest her back. This evidentally is the same injury that kept her out of some of the early regular season last year. I thought that she was fully recovered, but guess not. Hope that this isn't a chronic problem moving forward. Only time will tell.

Not a drag on Lexi, but it’s her weakest part of her game and doesn’t require jumping!!

Stanford posters are traditionally some of the least biased and knowledgable posters on this board imo, but that was all until you showed up.

Sand volleyball could be just as hard on your back or possibly even harder than indoor. True, there is less hard impact than indoor which is easier on the body. But, with sand you’re using so many stabilizing muscles with the uneven surface and twisting/diving/turning your body in weird directions all the time can make it really rough on the back. Probably best if she still has a back issue to let it heal and get stronger.

Considering these are big athletic girls (even Hames compared to the average female gym goer), cleaning that much isn't some feat. I think people are mesmerized by the circumference of the bumper plate.
