1. The titanic battle for the new Libero looks to be mighty intriguing.

2. What to do with Zuhn? The left pin looks fairly well stocked and with middles arriving in each of 2020-2022, I placed Zuhn on the right ahead of Szabo. Who knows?

3. Will be interesting to see who’s coming or going in the next 7 months or so. A few players could play different positions.

How has Kurkova been progressing in practice? Is she a viable back-up at setter, or will they be looking for someone to push Hames more?

I doubt Drewnick will be be beating out Hames at setter so right side looks to be a good option while also being backup to Hames. Some people will move on too

It's not necessarily about beating her out. We still need a backup setter in 2020. Kurkova is only in Lincoln for 2018 and 2019. Drewnick is really good. She just set the Brazilian junior national team to a gold at the South American championship. At 6'2", she brings lot of height to the setting position.

If Zuhn plays middle we will have way too many middles and someone will have to move with the 3 Nebraska girls coming (Meyer, Gray, Allick) in the future. On top of that Stutheit may play middle too

Zuhn is not playing middle. I don't know why people keep thinking that's the case.

At this point it doesn’t look like she is what we need there. It will be interesting to see if Cook adds another setter for next season

That’s BS. If Stanford goes on a ten year drought without adding a NC (not likely I know), their fans aren’t gonna be happy just because of the number they’ve already won.
