If they're playing anything like they were playing at this time of year last year (and I think they're pretty close), they will be tough. They gave Hawaii a good run in the regional last year. Good luck to your Gauchos if they do meet up with Tech. They haven't done anything to a top team this season though. I wouldn't be surprised if they knocked off UCSB, but if they were anything close to their level as last season, I think they'd easily make the Final Four. This season is a bit drop in level from last season.

The Wahine this year has taken on their style of play and we know the results.

But enough about what I think about Hawaii. What do YOU think about Hawaii? To me, a dangerous team is one that throws bowling balls into the crowd during pre-game introductions, instead of those cute little plastic volleyballs. Mr. Pineapple, you are the fruitiest!
I had the bracket right in the front of me. Alabama A&M? what a cupcake of a first round opponent.
Yeah, you hate to overlook a team (what RPI/Pablo was Cal Poly when they beat us last year to end the regular season?), but since Pablo says we got the easiest first round opponent of anyone If we somehow went out in the first round this year, it'd make for a very long offseason what's Pablo say 1 in 1000 chance for Alabama A&M? UCSB vs Georgia or Georgia Tech should be a good match I'm counting on having a very full Volleyball/Soccer/Basketball UCSB weekend
I'd have to agree with that ststement. They haven't played anyone in the Top 100 since early September. They are also very short. Another poster mentioned however that they play a very unconventional style of Volleyball and can get teams out of their game as a result. If the Gauchos just stay focused it should be an easy win. (Famous last words. )
