These commits are gonna start dropping in a few months, right? Also quite a conundrum from coaches who have to evaluate this Spring whether they want to use those scholarships on a 2023 or give a 5th year to a 2019 and push the scholarship to 2024? Could be fewer places available.

I’d be interested to know if anyone knows where those still uncommitted are leaning.
I think I’ve heard via this board: Murray - Nebraska Blyashov, Choboy - Stanford
Anyone heard any others or differing opinions on these players?

Oregon has a player a lot like Chloe.... Do you guys think Chloe Chicoine will play L or OH in college? She is SO insanely good at both of those positions that I’m not sure. I know she’s at a disadvantage because of her height but I genuinely think she could easily be a star OH at any college in the country. Also anybody have any idea what schools she’s considering?

I have no idea where Chicoine is looking. Had the Youth National Team gotten to play this past summer I might have heard something. I am sure someone out there has to know. If I was a college coach I would want her on my team for sure. She is very athletic and seems to play with the right mind set all the time. Safe to say she's going to play at a high level.

So athletic, skilled, great hops. Wish she wasn't 5'9. It can still happen...look at Flickinger at LSU. She is about the same height and goes 6 rotations at OH.

I have no idea but her highlight tape is electric and so fun to watch. I don’t think she’d have any issue hitting at the college level.

Has won some beach tournaments though. Definitely could play on any beach team in the country even if it isn’t her main focus.

Just digging up this thread since June 15 is so close! I thought dead period ends June 1st. Isn't that when D1 coaches can start to engage the 2023's who have filled out questionnaires for their programs?

Isn't that when D1 coaches can start to engage the 2023's who have filled out questionnaires for their programs? June 15th dictates the time when coaches can have direct contact with athletes who have just completed their sophomore seasons (this year, it's 2023s). The end of the dead period on June 1st will allow direct contact for athletes older than that. That will be a big date for the 2022s.
