I thought dead period ends June 1st. Isn't that when D1 coaches can start to engage the 2023's who have filled out questionnaires for their programs? June 15th dictates the time when coaches can have direct contact with athletes who have just completed their sophomore seasons (this year, it's 2023s). The end of the dead period on June 1st will allow direct contact for athletes older than that. That will be a big date for the 2022s. Thanks for that. So questionnaire filled out or no, coaches can reach out to next year Juniors on June 15th. The questionnaire just signals interest by PSA to program and gives info for database. Dead period expiry is moot for 2023s as they can't be contacted until June 15th before Junior year. Does that sound right?

holy sh*t where is she going I can only hope she stays “home” and plays for Purdue, but I sadly don’t see that happening. It’s rare to see Purdue get a recruit as good as her.

holy sh*t where is she going People were saying Penn State a month or two ago. I think in one of the transfers threads or the Penn State 2021 thread after the Rollins and Pritchard thing happened. Obviously yet to be confirmed.

Yeah I think she’s only 5’9. Which probably means 5’8.

She reminds me a little bit of Paige Briggs from WKU

World challenge begins tomorrow, this is the first chance D1 coaches have had to be in person at a live tourney since last March? Pretty good list on the homepage, too bad the tourney field isn't as strong as it has been in the past though.

It's pretty crazy to imagine. Coaches haven’t had much opportunity to evaluate this class in person in the last 2 years. Dead periods, no camps, recruiting rule changes, COVID, etc.. This group was still in middle school the last time coaches were allowed to speak to them. AAUs and GJNCs later this month will be the first massive tournaments where coaches can evaluate in person on a large scale. I bet we see a few commitments in late June, but more commitments and offers will come in early July, but only AFTER coaches can see the players and families in person.
