DailyBruin.com preview: UCLA looks to beat Pepperdine for third time this season. "Pepperdine’s back is against the wall. They’ve had more losses at this point in the season than any other year – is my assumption," said UCLA head coach Stein Metzger.
"We are fully developed as a program in terms of our program style, strategy, ability to make adjustments and overall volleyball IQ – all of that mainly has to do with the age of the athletes," said UCLA head coach Stein Metzger. "Some of our first recruiting classes are now seniors and juniors, so they have the experience we need now."

Stetson head coach Kristina Hernandez: "We have really been focusing on finishing tight sets and cleaning up some small details. (...) I think we are playing strong enough to where we are not just relying on a couple of seeds to get the job done. All of our seeds are contributing which is nice to see." gohatters.com/news/2019/3/17/beach-volleyball-hatters-grab-two-top-20-wins-on-sunday.aspx

This puts Stetson in the conversation no? SoS will be tough being in ASUn but regional record, overall record, common opponent, and significant wins seems pretty good. Plus no lineup shuffling like FIU

Yes it does. Stetson has been on my contenders list for a while and this gives them the lead (barely) now for East bid #3. Lots of volleyball left though.

"While programs like UCLA will deploy a deep playbook filled with various different sets and tempos, LSU’s method is so down to Earth it verges on being quite boring, really. Pass, set, hit. (...) Already this season, LSU has knocked off current No. 3 Florida State, No. 5 Pepperdine and No. 6 Hawaii."
"Since opening the season at No. 17 in the polls, Stetson has climbed seven spots, more than any other beach program. The Hatters have won five matches against Top 20 opponents including victories against Top 10 foes Long Beach State and South Carolina." - gohatters.com
"Up, up, and away! After its strong showing at the Heineken Hawai'i Invitational, Cal moves up to No. 8 in the country according to DiG Magazine, the highest ranking in program history!" - @calbeachvball
