Anyway, Hart and Loberg (mostly from the right) had good matches stats wise. Duello hit 0.226 despite 7 errors. Haggerty hit 0.236. Except for the third set, which was a miserable break down (!), badgers hit over 0.300 and kept the Phoenix to under 0.
Really hard to evaluate their individual play since I couldn't even tell Hilley from Duello and Hart half the time with the feed.

The PA announcer got Loberg and Shanny mixed up once and Hart and Rettke.
Lots of similar looking players, even live.

Apart from the passing breakdown in the third set, I thought the Badgers had a pretty good outing. Duello just had some misses that brought down her percentage. She was playing left side the majority of the time in the first two sets, with Loberg on the right. Rettke only played the first two and a half sets before they went with Shanahan for the rest of the match. Hart had a nice match offensively and defensively. Clark played well. Wohlert didn't play, although she warmed up and hit, if memory serves. Basically, I am pretty confident in the Badgers if they can stay healthy and execute on key points. Having the first thing actually go the right way for once would be great. I hope Zakutney is ready for the season in the fall, but it didn't look good.

I hope someone can report on the GB frosh. She couldn't even lift that leg at all and dragged it off the court. I saw Walker preparing a knee brace so I'm guessing an ACL thing. I didn't see what happened exactly. For a brief moment I thought they might just cancel based on her injury.

Does FB live archive videos? I wasn’t able to tune in live.
