I wouldn’t be happy to play with a %*$#ty libero. 🤷🏾♂️ Exactly. If Nicole was able to pass free balls then Tom might have tolerated her so...

I searched for "volleyball" on the cable guide, and it came up some matches on the Olympic Channel (787). Women`s USA vs Serbia 5/29 5pm, and vs Italy 5/30 5pm.......USA men`s vs Brazil 6/1 5:30pm.

FLO is the worst thing to happen to volleyball since Karch became HC. The idea of FLO isn't that horrible. The yearly membership value isn't that bad, given that I get VNL, Pan Ams, Big Ten, World Championship, etc. It's a ton of content and usually good quality video. I know a lot of people were saying how expensive it is, but when you actutally use it year round, it's almost a steal. However, their execution has failed several times. Whether failed video, delayed replays, problems loading in specific browsers, etc.. It's all in the execution...

Does anyone know if the players get tickets for family or friends for the games in Nebraska?

I wonder if they are considering using Robinson as a "DS", starting backrow for Hill on left and re-entering backrow later (and stay in front row to finish). Maybe they just want OH depth if moving Bartsch to right? Hill was the no. 1 receiver at vnls last year, Robinson 3rd. I would not want hills serve receive taken out ecspecially because it was the highest ranked in the enorme tournament. Hill is a great passer and good pipe attacker I would rather have Robinson in the back for Larson.

I was sitting here thinking, “I’d love to go watch Mary Lake play in this tournament.” Then I thought, “Um, you’re going to Italy in a week. Maybe they play there!” Turns out they do, but we will still be in Austria. Thinking about skipping Vienna and going to watch. Could make the USA/Dominican Republuc game. #myhusbandwouldkillme

We are in Salzburg for two days, scheduled to be in Vienna for one day before we head to Italy. Guess I can wait and see if Mary Lake makes the roster for that week.

You certainly could be right, my dim recollection is that teams generally avoided serving Larson, went after Hill and occasionally had success. Robinson certainly could be a sub for either OH and may just be the 3rd or 4th OH for depth.

Larson is a rock, this generations Tom. She simply doesn't come off the floor because she does all the little things better than anyone else. We need a little things stat.

I’m not sure how USA could have different stats but who knows.

Might not mean much, but from the last practice it was Drews/Poulter, Hancock/Thompson as pairs in games.

I’m not sure how USA could have different stats but who knows. VNL Player RankingsThey only ranked players who had more than 200 reception attempts. Larson only had 116, which seems to support the idea that teams avoid serving her. Also the ranking is based on one of the weirdest passing formulas I've seen: (perfect passes - errors)/total receptions. If you just add in Larson, she would have been 4th, right behind KRob. Hill had a really good tournament passing-wise, but you can't use one tournament to decide she's better in serve-receive than Larson... Hill has improved quite a bit since she debuted in 2013 (?) for the NT, but of the world's top OHs, Larson is still the best passer, digger, and OOS setter.
