I wonder if criticizing anyone's tone when they are on the other side of a disagreement with 405 is fair? Also isn't one of the main differences between Sun and p1440 that p1440's money mark (love pro wrestling terms) wasn't willing to throw good money after bad, whereas the AVP's was. Thats something for which Sun should be commended but saying he is a better businessman because he kept spending after losing money absent some proof the AVP is in the black? To be fair that is Golden's tone on basically every single post that is even slightly critical of Kerri or 1440, even if 405 does it occasionally to rile people up. I alluded to the point that Kerri really can't comment on Sun's business acumen when she is currently trying to get her tour out of a hole by using a bigger shovel, however IMO Sun is a better business man as that was his career and Kerri's was to be unbelievable at volleyball while she hired people to handle her business side. Its a fair point but how much is it Kerri's business versus Dave Mays'? She is definitely the face, but its my understanding the WJs didnt put money in and werent final decision makers (someone more knowledgeable please correct me if that was wrong). Also was Donald a businessman before the AVP? I thought he worked for his father in some high up context. I dont want to knock Donald because he definitely seems to be working closer to the black if he isnt there yet, but most of us are arguing from a place of limited knowledge when we talk about how much the tours make versus lose when numbers aren't available (myself included) On the other point, I think we should avoid being excessively salty with those who aren't with others. Those who are more aggressive in their argument (405, myself, Donny etc. I feel like its fair)

Traditionally and continuing today throughout the world of sports, ownership is a game for the wealthy. I remember when LA pitched that he had his big fish and he & KW we’re going to make a run. I’m sure DM is very successful but I don’t think he was popping $ 10 bil a year in revenue from glass & wire. The Sun family hadn’t bleed a nickel, they could play with tax loss dollars like we play tiddlywinks. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingston_TechnologyAnd this is not the only sport they are investing in, and now with renewed Corp support let’s hope they find their stride and continue to add venues & locations. Wishing them to fail Is certainly short sided for everyone in the sport except whom? Let see if P can make the pivot they need to make the business model work but there is actually more money in youth, and training and running these 200-500 team mega tourneys that continue to grow without the expense of building stadiums and fan friendly venues. Just utilize Holly & Barbs Beach Elite as a small sampling, they are reaping more cash flow without leaving the confines of MB than any Pro ever made per annum since the glory days.

Sun hasn’t threatened Travis to anybodies knowledge unless I missed something. That was just speculation. My personal opinion is Sun probably appreciates what Travis is doing for the game and will allow him to continue in whatever fashion he wants. At this point I think we all know P1440 is not a threat to the AVP. As far as Donald ostracizing those who have objected him in the past, in my opinion that’s his prerogative. Would there be a domestic tour without him? He’s our pony right now and I’m riding with him. "Allow him to continue in any fashion he wants?" By denying him credentials? I totally misread this situation. I thought people were just speculating that Sun might pull Travis’ media credentials, didn’t realize it has already happened. That’s the disconnect. Reading comprehension has been a struggle of mine for a long time.

The threads on this forum are really devolving quickly and far too frequently. Everything turns into a P1440 bashing or something about Donald Sun. It would be so much more pleasant to keep each thread on topic and save all that other nonsense for a different thread. Or I'd be fine if we just left it behind us finally...

Like Lotman going full out early on the serves. Two aces. Probably not going to win this, but might as well be aggressive
FYI: It's streaming on Amazon Prime in case people weren't sure

Thank the heavens Lotman took out Roberts in that Q final, at least this team can offer entertaining matches.
