How does anyone really know that Jon killed Dany if Rogon spirited her body away? If I were Jon, I would have been walking about asking "Where's Dany?" Yes, exactly. He could have said either she or the dragon went crazy, burned up the throne, and together they flew away. Although Jon being Jon, I'm sure he turned himself in for the crime.

Does it piss anybody else off, how the council laughs at Samwell? They don't know him like Jon does.

I'm surprised Grey Worm didn't completely snap. The only two things in his life that had meaning for him were Missadei and Dani, and he comes all the way to Westeros to fight an army of undead, then have these crazy Westeros people kill both Missandei and Dani.

Although Jon being Jon, I'm sure he turned himself in for the crime. she did go crazy. hence why Kings Landing ended up the way it did. Jon can't tell a lie (or hold a secret) to save his life

Arya's sister is Queen Of The North and she's the woman who killed the Night King. I imagine her ship was paid for and constructed out of Sansa's budget. It's a little surprising she found a crew willing to sail off the edge of the map. if Columbus could do it, I don't see why Arya couldn't

Does it piss anybody else off, how the council laughs at Samwell? given recent results of democracy in the US, I can't say that I blame them for turning down the idea.

So just finished watching the final episode. Talk about an abrupt way to dispatch Dany. I knew she was going to get killed, but so suddenly, maybe not even half way into the episode, felt rather odd. Oh well, this is one more thing fans to complain about I suppose.

I dunno. Considering the season's first five episodes, I think the finale was about the best I could hope for. I did enjoy seeing Tyrion, Bronn, Sam, Davos, and Brienne discussing resource allocation. I would have enjoyed a conversation between Jon and Tormund.
Oh, and apparently Edmure escaped the dungeons at the Twins.

The writers managed to do one thing well: make me relieved that the show is over. It felt like watching Texas in a Championship Final (can we just get this over with?).

In the end, plot was more important than the characters -- and that is a fatal flaw. Great series in a lot of ways, but fell short in too many ways.
Here's an interesting outcome: By my count, we ended up with ONE romantic/sexual relationship in the end, Sam and Gilly (who wasn't in the episode, btw). None of the remaining characters have a partner at the end, unless Edmure and wife are still a couple.
A love story with a happy ending it was not ...
