Are you under the impression that these "special talents" are going to be adding something to the tournament (other than their entry fees)? Every golfer is happy when Tiger is granted an exemption, he brings in millions of viewers and dollars and makes everyone more money, i.e SPECIAL TALENT. Letting in any team that might be able to win a couple of sets, maybe a match or two in a niche sport, ain't doing anything but ensuring they stay entitled. Get the points, and you'll get in...that's how it works. Otherwise, be Tiger, be Kerri or Misty, be a reason for someone to go out there to watch, when they weren't planning to in the 1st place. I doubt anyone in NYC is gonna head out there and pay to get in, cuz they heard Sponcil will be playing.

Relax pal, no one pays to go see A-Team or Dalcena play right now anyways so that argument is crap. Also, I don't think anyone who has interacted with the Partains and Sponcil would ever say they are entitled kids that have not earned anything. And at the end of the day they did in fact have enough points to be in the Q so your argument was just a bunch of hot air.

Their first real opportunity to prove themselves will be against Chase/Piotr if I read the seeds correctly. Thats a tough chance for anyone

Hypothetically if this is the match up and they come out and beat Chase/Piotr then my point of them belonging in the Q over other people who come out and leave with a -22 after their first match is proven.

It would be nice to see them compete against real Q top teams though. Chase/Piotr are not great but they are a legit MD team and could skunk anyone in the quali. Seeing them play Skylar or Travis would be more interesting
