This is more of a straight question than a trivia question because I don't know the answer.
Has there ever been a high schooler who played on the USA Olympic volleyball team? (I'm talking about legitimate high schooler still enrolled in high school at the time of the Olympics.)
Has there ever been a pre-college girl who played on the USA Olympic volleyball team? (So, here, it can be anyone who hasn't yet enrolled in college, e.g., summer after high school graduation and before college registration.)
I'm going with "NO" for both questions.
I know Keba Phipps never played college but at the time she was on the Olympic team, she was 19 and never had any plans for college.
I know there have been players who played on the USA Olympic volleyball team who were in college at the time of the Olympic competition, e.g., Logan Tom.

Laurie Lewis played for the national team in high school, and I believe for the 1968 Olympic team prior to her enrolling at UCLA. |

I remember being confused that just because "mensa" is feminine does not mean that Romans thought tables were girls. (Later I was confused about why an organization of supposedly smart people named themselves "Table".) In Spanish, menso is slang for dummy or meathead, and mensa is the feminine. |
