Well I better do this now to improve my chances in tiebreaker B. You left section II, format, completely blank so I am just winging it. I am going with jersey numbers since names would require me googling the roster and who has time for that. - What is the starting lineup (S, OH, OH, OH, M, M, L)? #1, #2, #3, #5, #8, #13, #21 - List all players who will play up to the technical timeout #6 will also get in - Which team will win the match? Hawaii - What is the final score, in sets (regardless of team)? 3-2 - Which team will score first in the first set? Hawaii - Which team will call a timeout first in the first set? San Diego - Which team will reach the 15th point first in the first set? Hawaii - What will be Hawaii's team hitting percent (in the format, 0.xyz) at the end of the match? 0.200 - Which Hawaii player will get the first kill? #5 - Which Hawaii player will serve first? #1 - Which Hawaii player will be the first to pass the ball? #2 - Which Hawaii player will get the first dig? #8 - Which Hawaii player will get the first block? #13 - Which Hawaii player will get the first ace (if any)? #13 - Which Hawaii player will be named "Player of the Match" (as determined by the broadcasting company)? #2 Tiebreaker A: #21 won't play the first point. If I get zero points and 5 or less people enter do I still qualify for a prize? This will not count because the contest starts August 19, 2019, right after midnight. LOL! Besides, I may add more questions.

Wolfgang, you wrote "- List all players who will play up to the technical timeout (i.e., first team to score 15th point results in a broadcast technical timeout)." If one team calls a timeout before any team scores 15 points, there will not be a "technical timeout." How about just "List all players who will play before any team scores 16 points."?

Yeah, I realize this. I had a variation of this in my original Contest (now cancelled). I'll be editing until late Sunday. I do like your "16th point" suggestion.

If I get zero points and 5 or less people enter do I still qualify for a prize? Lol, I looked over at our roster to see which players will correspond to the numbers that you guessed. The starting line-up includes #13 and #21 who cease to exist on the Hawaii team, so it is extremely surprising at how good #13 is at digging and serving. The first person to get a kill would be Janelle Gong who is a defensive specialist (although she did play OH in high school), and the first person to get a dig will be Skyler Williams who is a middle blocker. Oddly enough, all the other numbers that you selected could potentially be viable options. #6 corresponds to Riley Wagoner who would definitely come in (especially if Hawaii is struggling early-on) to help rally the team, forcing San Diego to take the first timeout. Also, Kyra Hanawahine serving, Brooke Van Sickle could be the first player to pass, and Van Sickle very much has the capability of winning player of the match. Plus, I'm a 100% sure that #21 won't play the first point

I think you are just into rules for the sake of rules. Your contest feels very complicated. Further, I am now getting hives over finding a "funny enough" gif for my reserved space. VT used to be fun.

I do like rules. LOL! The reason is, people will come up with all sorts of "interpretations" and will submit bizarre stuff that I never anticipated and don't really want to deal with. For example, one user ned3vball submitted an entry with player jersey numbers instead of names. I never in a million years anticipated that. And I don't want to look up player names by cross-referencing them with their corresponding jersey numbers. So, I had to write in a rule about that. Just one of many strange scenarios I want to nip in the bud, so to speak.

That's one of the reasons the multiple choice/true-false tests [contest] are more prevalent than the short answer test [contest]. Re your "I never in a million years anticipated that", I am thankful that I will never have to suffer so long, lol

A lot of conditional columns and downwardly moving increments for extra credit. I doubt any of my students understood what the hell I was doing. LOL!

Reserved I was reserving mine for a funny gif, but nevermind, I guess. You can do a funny gif but it had better be funny. I went for safe and nostalgic.

I actually want some of these prizes. If I am the only entry can I have them all? Great to hear from you. In my casual lookie-see of the rules, I see no proscription about multiple-entries, jus' sayin' So, hypothetically, you could enter 5 times and if no one else entered, ta da.

That would have been great advice if you hadn't tipped-off Wolfgang in the process.
