Tomorrow. Wondering if Stanford is going to sleepwalk through most of the 1st set before they decide to start playing?

What lineup has Penn State been playing?
Middles and Pins?
Is that short setter running a 5-1?

What lineup has Penn State been playing? Middles and Pins? Is that short setter running a 5-1? Blossom is setting, so yes. Middles: Hord and Gray Left sides: Parker, Cathey (DS'd by Hampton) Right side: Gorrell (DS'd by Holcomb) Libero: White This is the serving order: Blossom, Gray, Parker, Gorrell(Holcomb), Hord(White), Cathey(Hampton) It seems as though Parker is playing left side, but they are not running the 5-1 "normally" aka the left side is serving before the right side/setter, instead of after. Also, Parker is playing right side and Gorrell playing left side in the rotation right before and during Gray's serve.

I want Stanford to lose at some point to give everyone else hope, but I find it really, really hard to want Penn State to win, given the Badgers' painful series history with the Lions (but, hey, they doubled their all time win total in Unhappy Valley last season).

Stanford in three. Against Penn State on the road, they will come out with the focus and determination that was too often lacking against Texas at home. Texas is also a very, very good young team.

Supposedly Stanford is irked that they couldn't schedule Wisconsin. Apparently, they tried and failed. I figure you'd want them to lose to Wisconsin in particular, more than when they were playing other B1G teams, and (according to the story), they wanted to give the Badgers the opportunity.

I wouldn't be surprised at an upset. PSY might be young, but they always recruit major studs, and are awfully hard to beat at home. If Stanford continues to have problems lighting it up on their middle-right attack and block as poorly as they did against Texas, PSU could roll home.

Since Wisconsin has never beaten them, that would be awesome. I think Sheffield seems difficult when it comes to scheduling, so that wouldn't surprise me if that didn't work out on Wisconsin's end.

On the bright side imagine the art work Wisconsin inspired.

Why does this start so late? Or did I miss a tv link in the mass of logos, records, lineups and stats?
