Will Minnesota start their 2nd team? Will the Gophers win 75-0? No and no. Gophers are still trying to gel. They will play their starters - make one substitution if they need to try and problem solve, but probably sub back again. I think we may see Sheehan come in as a passing sub on the outside if we need to get out of a rotation, for example. However, based on the last to tries at this, I think they will take her out and put the better attacker back in as soon as they side out. I would love to see one of the Frosh middles come in for a while, double sub or whatever, but I don't think it will happen. Otherwise, I want to see the starters smooth things out a bit. B1G 10 next week.

Oral Roberts challenged Clemson the last three sets. Clemson challenged us all three sets, therefore, by the transitive property of volleyball, Oral Roberts could challenge us for three sets. OK - thats bad math - but you get the point I hope. Minnesota has to execute to win.

It’s weird to hear the announcers calling them Oral Roberts when their name is Oral Bob!

Rubright got a block!
Nice to see her teammates recognizing it at the change over.

Rubright block, block, block! Take your opportunity and run with it Hits out then blocked. Slow in transition and on blocking. She needs some more time to develop.

I thought it would be closer. I'm happy to see a situation where the Gophers did not play down to their opponents. I hope, however, they continue to play up to their opponents, as they did with Stanford. Go Gophers.

I like the Gophers' B1G schedule this year. If they can keep upsets to a bare minimum, they have a very good shot at another B1G title. Easier said than done, I know.
