A friend saw Soboleski walking around campus with a boot on, and apparently she didn't warm up @ BC. We're down to one setter. A good one, but only one and Akeo has been a liability on the blocking front. I don't know how long Soboleski will be out but this is really worrying from a depth perspective.

So what, the scouting report is now going to be to kick Akeo in the knee so they’re out of setters? This changes nothing for opponents. Edit: I'll add that I doubt the comment was true. While I didn't see warmups, you can see Soboleski in the broadcast of the BC match. She's dressed to play. In her jersey, knee pads and volleyball shoes on.

Idk, according to some guy in the BC thread who was at the game akeo was the only one taking reps in warm-ups. Maybe it was just a tweak that morning or something. We'll see on Friday.

Well even when Lexi's older sister was running a 5-1 opponents always scouted to hit over her and feed the left. And Pitt was always prepared for it. Lexi has done good there so I dont see many opponents changing their game plans.

Often times I've seen volleyball players wearing a boot when they are nursing an injury, only to play/warm up as usual on game day.

UNC today. Gotta admit, I'm a little worried about this. FSU was missing Caffrey for most of the match against them, but UNC still put up impressive numbers against a really good blocking team. I still expect that we win this but it could be more of a nail-biter than it should be. Also the first home game since September, so I can finally get rowdy at a game again. Should be really fun.

As a UNC fan, I am not expecting a win, call me a debbie downer. I will always cheer for them, and I think it could be competitive, but we have not played a team of Pitt's caliber since the 2nd weekend against Cal. We need more than just our block and left sides. However, they have surprised me the past few weeks. Hoping for a good, clean game on both sides.

Williams looked real bad in serve/receive yesterday. Got aced/had bad passes a bunch of times in a row in set 1 and got benched for Faki. Also hit negative on the match. Interested to see if Fisher keeps her as a starter tomorrow or if he gives her the week to cool off and try to get back in business.

Figstats RPI has us at 4 now after the win @ Louisville (RPI 16). With us presumably moving to 2 in the AVCA poll, odds of a regional seed are way up.

Another pair of sweeps on the weekend over Wake and Duke. Had some unusual rotations going on in both games which made some sets closer than they could've been.
