Poland would need to lose a couple more sets in order for USA to take silver. Why did they go 5 sets with Canada...?

Offense came through for the U.S., which led in kills, 58-41. The U.S. kill percentage behind setter Micah Christenson was 54.7. Canada’s was 38.8 behind setter Byron Keturakis. Today was a trap game imo (emotionally) We had quite a number of serve reception issues in seams and couldn't muster even an OSS swing from them. Canada served bombs and won the blocking battle by a little and service ace battle 10-7. SOOOOO glad we have a day off for these guys. I wouldn't be suprised if we run the table and go 9-0 the rest of the way.

Seems like they’ve hit a bit of a wall since that win (and getting swept by lights out Brazil doesn’t help).

Keturakis is a brilliant talent. USA is lucky they are not going up against Canada for the Norceca Olympic Qualifier. haha, ya right... Canada will have its hands full with Cuba, Canada is the lucky one to not have to go through the US.

Canada will have its hands full with Cuba, Canada is the lucky one to not have to go through the US. Did I say Canada wasn't screwed without USA? Keturakis is a new factor in the equation for the NORCECA qualifiers and players especially a setter can dramatically change the dynamics of a team. USA doesn't have an X factor to lean on to when s*i* hits the fan and that's what I'm mostly worried with the team. Speraw relies on the veterans so damn heavily that USA is as predictable as an open book during the crunch times because they still have nobody on the bench that can change the game.
