All of downtown LB is a hot spot. I havent tried it myself though I was actually referring to a cellular (Verizon) data card, however, the notebook does also have a built in 802.11G WiFi card so its good to know there are many hot spots for those in the downtown area as well. Do you or Beachman happen to know we'll be allowed to bring things like notebooks into the arena during the matches? It would be interesting to babble on VT at times during the semifinal matches since they're not being televised live anywhere AFIAK.
I will circle the arena looking for people with laptops. I will then say "tibbir, tibbir" and see if you look up. Then I will have found gorf.
How about if I just search around for my horn-rimmed-taped-corner-way-thick-lensed nerd glasses from back in high school and mumble a lot? I'll actually be the guy that's limping around sometimes cringing in various amount of pain from mere walking because of a pinched nerve in my lower back that the recent cortisone shot has only partially helped relieve.

Oh, yeah, and then I'll sneak it in... I DID manage to get a camera in last year... Sneaky one I am. No, I didn't use a flash.

Yo...I am right here. I think we should meet at Extreme Pizza. It's just a very short way from the Arena. Extreme Pizza is in the "Pike" across from Gameworks. Anyone around will be able to direct you there. Should we meet before the matches on Thursday and then again on Sat? How about before the Matches On Thursday? Say... at 3:30 until 5:00? I'm just throwing this out for discussion. I probably won't be able to make it until closer to 4:20 or so, but I do OWE you that large Coke. Grumble grumble, can't believe Idaho lost!

We're driving down Wednesday nite, staying at the Holiday Inn and leaving after the match on Saturday. Thursday 3:30 - 5 at Extreme Pizza works for us. We will NOT be wearing the orange cowboy hats.

Now your talking! Cheese, sasuage and peperioni, please. Frankly, I hope that tastes better than it spells! One of you senior AAs, how about taking responsibility for setting, and posting, times and places for VT get-togethers, open or anonymous as the attendees' choice, subject to a certain response level. Looks like Thursday before matches and Friday happy hour are most conducive for relaxed get-togethers. Whatever. A lot of us are leaving soon, so time is of the essence. Just found out that my hotel, the Marriott Renaissance, doesn't even have non-dial-up internet. Cripes, Beachman, wtf? Why should we be staying in LB with such antiquated facilities?

Frankly, I hope that tastes better than it spells! ROFL... I was thinking something similar to that. Its a good thing I'm listed as a smart arse, uh, wise guy. If I were organizing the get togethers everyone would probably end up in San Diego (or further south) somehow. I believe Robert Motley mentioned much of the entire downtown area is saturated with WiFi hotspots that you might be able to wirelessly connect to with a notebook if you take one with you.

Frankly, I hope that tastes better than it spells! Well, you'll notice that I posted at 1:35 a. m. and my brain gets off duty at midnite!
