Congratulations to the three Longhorns, both current and future, selected to the U19 USA World Championship Training Roster
Henley Anderson (OPP/OH, 6-3, 2007, Dripping Springs, Texas, Dripping Springs HS) Genevieve Harris (S, 5-11, 2007, Raleigh, N.C, Cardinal Gibbons HS) Cari Spears (OH, 6-3, 2007, Dallas, Texas, University of Texas)
Of all the players selected, only 4 are from the 2026 HS class, and 2 of those are committed to Texas!

well nvm I guess AVW is U21? even though her and Spears are the same age? Spears is 2007 but AVW is a 2006. Although AVW has a lot of experience in these types of tournaments so even if she were offered she may not have wanted to, who knows. Spears has been to a USA tournament in a previous year (2023?) but wasn’t a starter.

Cari is 2007 (so she will will turn 19 in 2026) whereas AVW is a 2006 (turns 19 in 2025!)

Henley, Harris and Spears will be playing their second year for U.S. U19. Vander Wal has been playing up since 2022 and is on the roster for U21. Will she play or stay like Ames did last year?

Martin has entered portal. Speculation that she's coming to Texas, but don't know how that would work.
Anderson, Cugino & Harris on U19 team Ames, Gary, Harvey & Vander Wal on U21

Anderson, Cugino & Harris on U19 team Ames, Gary, Harvey & Vander Wal on U21 Correction Anderson, Harris & Spears on U19 Anderson,, Harris & Cugino on U19 promoted to U21 (August scheduling conflicts) Different team for U19 NORCECA I expect Ames, Gary, Vander Wal to be moved up to collegiate team, possibly, or stay on U21 when rescheduled. It's a little confusing
