When the discussion pertains to which player is going to beat out the other for the MB2 spot, a highlight of a slide isn't the sick burn you think it is. Your MB2 is going to be hitting the majority of her attacks in front of the setter. You can watch any match from the last several years and see how few slides Bri ran in our offense. Seems to me your eyes missed the text of the tweet where it mentions her having 16 kills and hitting .516 You can also watch any match from the last several years and see how many times Butler had 16 kills, primarily because the answer is zero. People should be ecstatic about getting a great transfer who can produce and yet there are those who would bench her so Phillips could switch to middle in her 4th year of college. No kidding! Tempest came to this board tonight intent on acting like a juvenile prick. |

Excepting me. I determine the starters through sheer force of will by my posts on VT. It is known. I don’t really get too much into the discussions of who or who should not be starting. Especially when I don’t have a strong opinion on it. But I do acknowledge it’s definitely one of the main categories for discussion on sports forums. So I’m all for a lively debate of complete inconsequence (in terms of actual impact) simply for the sake of traffic. Once play actually starts I’m sure I’ll have a stronger opinion on it. My assumption is it’s going to be O’Neal and Bergmark as the MB1/MB2, but if blackiechan1999 and tempesthorn want to go in a different direction with their thoughts, I’m excited to read what they have to say, and appreciate their contributions. I'm not going in any direction. Had horns1 posted the clip texashorns did, I wouldn't have even weighed in. I'm simply over the moon we have competition at EVERY position in what feels like the first time in forever. Steel will sharpen steel and the best players will come out of that as starters. I admit I'm equal parts amused and befuddled by the fact so many have Bella as a starter when she's not on campus yet. Anyone familiar with our program should be well aware of the pitfalls with that scenario. We have literally been burned in that situation multiple times. I'm not here to post tweets that need your approval. I was quote-replying to someone who said they weren't "convinced" about Bella Bergmark. If you have a problem with a tweet I posted, deal with it; I'm not losing sleep over it. |

Speaking this into existence but it looks like Macaria "Cari" Spears is the highly touted recruit for 2025? Incoming sophomore and just made the U19 team.

Bunton looked solid today. Granted the inferior setting on the other side wasn’t really fooling anybody but I thought she moved really well as a blocker.

You can just go to the website and click the volleyball tab and the event and all the replays are there. |

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but it’s tough to tell who exactly Texas is or isn’t going after with their few scholarship spots. |
