From year's past when do they release any sort of news about team pictures and all that? Sometimes a week before or the week school starts. Historically, frustratingly slow. |

Is 2023 our rebuilding year since that's when Skylar will be out, right? I was going to wait for the eventual update to the roster to see who classifies as what before predicting when players' eligibility will be up.
For instance, if Iosia classifies as a "freshman" again this Fall, then we know she last year's Covid bonus year. If Peterson classifies as Senior and not Junior again, then we'll guess that she's going to graduate and then grad transfer to play.....for her Mom?
Then, I'll rework Page 1 to show which players will be gone under the recruit's target year.
I wouldn't use the classification on the roster to make any conclusions on eventual use of the free year. There was a press release a few weeks ago that the Big 12 agreed to show the classifications as if 2020-21 was a normal year. Therefore all players should be advancing a year from last year's roster. |

So basically we won't know who is using the extra year until they are seniors? Yes. The real decision isn't made until after the athlete's normal eligibility is exhausted. No decision made before then is binding, either by the athlete or the school. Remember that after the 21-22 academic year, any athlete that wants to return for their 5th (or 6th) year to use the "free" year must be offered a scholarship by the school and it will count against that sport's scholarship limit. |

Other than the home-state Gators, of her other 4 finalists, Texas would be playing those most matches closest to her home in the upcoming seasons . . .

On a recent post from Ella Swindle, Marianna Singletary commented “can’t wait to post with you when you come to Texas 😋🧡”. Maybe they are both visiting Texas in the coming months, or maybe Texas is her top choice….

That could only mean they just landed a big time 2023 recruit. Ella Swindle liked the post within 5 minutes of him posting and based on her recent follows my guess would be her.
