Vander Wal is the recruit I'm jealous about anyways. I'm hearing Nebraska might have another surprise up their sleeve re: the 2025s but I'll wait for that to come to fruition or not. |

i wonder if spears had a visit to lsu yet? she's following lsu players & it looks recent... tonya johnson is a great recruiterAs a head coach? I didn't really follow her recruiting while she was leading Georgia Tech. |

I didn't really follow her recruiting while she was leading Georgia Tech. i meant in general with all her connections especially in texas (she was a great recruiter while @ texas)...i understand that's not her role now as a head coach...you know they were looking @ spears when tj was @ texas I mean, which assistant coach have we had at Texas who has not been regarded as a "great recruiter"? It's difficult not to recruit well when you are recruiting someone to join Jerritt's established program. It's a lot different when an assistant coach becomes a head coach and is recruiting to the program they are now leading. Speaking of, how is Salima Rockwell recruiting at Notre Dame? I haven't paid attention. |

Does anyone remember how recruiting was immediately before JE (Jim Moore era) and immediately after JE came over?
I love the story of JE scheduling Texas as interim USC coach because he saw the writing on the wall for Moore. That’s some 3D chess right there

That’s some 3D chess right there Well, Moore ran the program into the ground before getting fired. So, I'm guessing his recruiting was getting pretty bad. Although he did sign MB Bethany Howden from nearby Austin Westlake, she was third-generation Longhorn, I believe. I also recall Kathy Tilson (Westlake) transferring out to Minnesota and Megan Konen (Iowa) transferring out to Wisconsin. JerritT brought Croatian sensation Mira Topic for his first season. I didn't know enough back then to wonder if she had signed an LOI with USC and was let out of it so she could follow Jerritt to Texas; that might have been what caused initial tension between Mick Haley and Jerritt. A&M was the "it" program in the state of Texas when Jerritt arrived; so, he had to first start beating Corbelli for the best recruits in Texas. He made up for being second-fiddle in state by bringing in transfers like Dariam Acevedo from Oregon and an MB (her name escapes me at the moment; Jenn Todd?) from Washington State. |

Mendelson reclassifying put her and Allick in the same 2022 class, so yeah hypothetically it would be insanely crowded during 2025 but the following year Allick and Mendelson would both be gone from the roster, leaving Jackson and Ames and (as of now) no other middles. |

The PAC is breaking up and Stanford is currently in limbo. Suspect there are multiple teams that might be getting 2nd looks from Stanford leans. Time will tell. Patience.... |
