Has anyone heard anything on the recruiting front for 2021 and beyond? When was the last time we didn’t have any recruits lined up besides outgoing seniors??

She was named as a prepvolleyball all American and only a sophomore!! As you can see from the video she has a HEAVY arm🤘🏽 |

I think we should slow down with listing people as recruits just because they post pictures or videos on campus. By looking at the video and pictures it’s evident it’s some type of group outing and a quick search of Texas volleyball camps show they held a clinic on the 8th for anyone wanting to workout and get a glimpse of what a college practice looks like and a tour was included. I know nothing about these athletes but from experience most true recruits don’t attend these one day clinics but attend the college elite camps. |

Agree with not reading too much into it as anyone can go to these one day clinics. However with the new recruiting rules, more and more PSAs are going to the one day clinics. It is their only opportunity - as freshman/sophomores - to interact with coaches and go on tours. Basically they are the new unofficial visit that you have to pay for.But since they are open to everyone, it does not mean that just because someone is there that they are a PSA for that school. Also doesn't mean they aren't... |

The athletes I have listed I know for a fact are being looked at by Texas. I'm not just posting any athlete who comes to a camp. These are athletes getting looked at by Texas. The o'neal sisters are getting recruited by as I said Baylor, Texas, Texas a&m and so many other schools as well as marianna. Texas has been looking at them for quite a while. |

I definitely agree with that also with the new rules and the one day clinics especially for the 2022's and younger. For those at are "eligible" to take unofficials and officials, like 2020's and 2021's, which was what was referenced with these two was more where I was leading with labeling as recruits but you are dead on!

Thats exactly what I was thinking. It was only 4 girls who went to the field. They also looked at videos on the history and success of Texas as well as locker room tours and even did a mini workout with the Texas athletic trainer and so much more. Those 4 players were definitely being recruited. If those players are being recruited by the likes of A&M and baylor then I am sure they are not at Texas just for a camp. I am currently trying to find the names of the other two girls so if I do I will bring them here🤘🏽 |
