It looks pretty grim for the PAC right now. Neither ASU nor WSU are in a good position. It would be a nail in the coffin if St. John's and Illinois State wins today.... Because what we all need right now is a few more at-larges!

I thought it was a Big Ten bylaw that if a team loses to Rutgers, they are ineligible for postseason play If Rutgers beats Wisconsin, I will give everyone on this thread $100. Just in case

Let’s talk about Illinois now. They've been getting the benefit of the doubt by the coaches all year; I'm pretty sure the committee will follow suit.

St. Johns HAS to lose in Round 1. Breaks my model if they make it to Round 2. (But bravo to them for their great accomplishment.)

I figured you would know best? And which does the committee rely on most?

So what is the difference between the RPI and RKPI? I figured you would know best? And which does the committee rely on most? RKPI is Rich Kern's estimation of what the RPI is at the time. Usual fairly close, but sometimes some small differences. The NCAA calculates the official RPI, and the committee will use that (and would have access to an updated version, even if that updated version may not yet be publicly posted).

Thought ?? Does the committee with two traditional powers and two non traditional powers in the top four seed them to have a final four with the traditional powers facing off in one semi and the non traditional in another
For example 1. Baylor vs 4. Pitt 2. Texas cs 3. Stanford
Or does it tweak it to make it Baylor vs Stanford and Texas vs Pitt
And I don’t see both Rice and Western Kentucky getting seeds
