That's awesome! ------------------------- ABIGAIL SHAFFER dixiestateathletics.com/sports/womens-volleyball/roster/abigail-shaffer/8039At King (TN) University Spring 2021 (COVID-Junior): Helped lead the Tornado to a 17-2 overall record, and to Conference Carolinas regular season and tournament titles … was named to the conference all-tournament team … led the conference and finished ninth in NCAA Division II in digs (317/4.95 dps) … reached double figures in digs 16 times with seven matches with 20-plus digs.
At Dakota County College 2019 (Sophomore): Tallied 507 digs and finished seventh in the NJCAA ranks with a 6.4 dps average.
At Eastern Florida State College 2016 (Freshman): Played one season for the Titans ... stats and highlights not available.------------------------- It is unclear whether she will get a fifth year of eligibility for Covid, as she is the only 4th year player on their roster that is listed as a senior instead of a junior. Since she began college in 2016, she is already a 6th year player, so redshirt year + covid year puts her there. She will run out of eligibility clock this year (normally the clock is five years, but athletes in college during the 2020 season, they get six). The only way she would have a 7th year would be if she had a medical hardship granted by the NCAA. |

Sidney Wilson and Kate Formico graduated and both are working in the financial world. Sidney works for Goldman Sachs and Kate works for Carta. Apparently after leaving Stanford they hit the ground running. They were missed last year, but they were integral parts of 2 National Championship teams.

Did the transfer portal ever actually close this year? I thought in the past that it opened on October 15th, but have heard of players that have already gone in this year. Is it currently being tracked anywhere that doesn't require login privilege to the transfer portal?
