There's no such story on the Heels VB page. Not has she been deleted from the roster. And her twitter doesn't give any indication that she is hanging it up. Did you read this on some other "Heels page"? From the North Carolina 2020 thread. There are 3+ pages of discussion from back in January about her leaving the team: Thank you. i was itching for them to approve my new account! Afraid my Macbook is gone... It was Atherton's choice but the coaches also were not disappointed according to what I was told due to her being "less than coachable." But that leaves us w just Anabelle in the spring Wow, that sucks. Well if she wants to get into coaching, her mother is currently keeping the seat warm as the HC of her old HS.

Here's that article on why she left Nebraska and her eventual signing with North Carolina. It may give one some insight of how she sees she should use her talent. goheels.com/news/2018/8/31/volleyball-goheels-exclusive-atherton-shooting-for-the-stars.aspx

Finally found a time to catch up on all the transfers. Compiled the draft list here and will update the OP and Google Doc when I can but here are 100+ transfers since my last update in mid-January that either weren't listed or brought up here on VT, RK, social media etc. If there are any more that I am missing/errors, feel free to let me know. I didn't update all the years for most of these but will in the Google Doc. Also didn't want to go through all the rosters for every school so if anyone else wants to do that feel free.
Thought there would be more transfers but maybe the whole fiasco has slowed it down a bit. Thanks everyone for your patience!

According to Rich Kern, Jenny Mosser from UCLA to Kansas I would say that KU has made a tremendous rebound from the defections that took place in December. Mosser fills a critical need - this team s/b a tournament team this year (assuming there is a this year).

According to Rich Kern, Jenny Mosser from UCLA to Kansas Wow, Ray Bechard is really doing some good damage control from the post- Payne/Havili/Rigdon era. Nielson, Szabo and now Mosser. Some good gets from top-notch schools. All super promising, Nielson seems to already proven good for the Jayhawks. Hope Szabo and Mosser can complete it

Though it didn't pan out as well as planned, Gabby Simpson was not a bad pickup either for KU

All super promising, Nielson seems to already proven good for the Jayhawks. Hope Szabo and Mosser can complete it He had to make up for losing Ennis and Christon to A&M KU recruited 6 senior aces combined in 2018-2019 - with 4 of them leaving in December. They have added the 3 senior aces above along with 3 more coming from their 2020 class. Their '20 class is the best class at the time they entered college in school history. The 2021 class is set and solid. In retrospect - they probably would have been better served to have upper class recruits to bridge the pipeline of recruits to be P5 ready, which now looks to be their plan out of necessity or learning from the recent past.
