I've been looking and still no luck I think it's at about 14-12 in the third set when the San Diego setter shoots the ball to the back corner and Rika is their and easily picks up the ball. Did this really happen? If so, awesome! Rika has got some fire!

Rika has got some fire! I honestly don't know. It just looked like she yelled something after picking up a ball from the setter so I'm just guessing that's when it was.

USD post match. These post match interviews are hard. The Toreros are a classy bunch. I have a lot of respect for Coach Petrie and her program. Ah, hard not to wanna follow USD now. Three class acts on interview. Appreciate the nice things they said about Hawaii and the fans.

I do have to comment on one thing. Watching both the USD and Wahine post match interviews, coach Petrie is so articulate and well spoken. Very nice how she formulates her responses to the questions. Coach RAM is such a Tita with her answer. Real local kine pidgin. Lol! 😂 She is REAL. She will not put on a show or fake it for anyone and anywhere. Lol She will not be prim and proper to please the masses. That’s what I love about her. I love that about her too. But......When being interviewed on a national stage, I think being able to turn it on and off (the pidgin lingo) should be easy to do. I just think sometimes giving a professional eloquent interview can be beneficial to attracting potential recruits when thinking of coming to UH. Some might use or see the interview Q&A as an excuse to say, Wow do all people in Hawaii talk like that? And if so, is this a reflection of their university and education system as well? Personally I don’t mind it as I’m from Kailua, Oahu so I grew up speaking both pidgin and proper English. Howzit brah! How are you? Can no can? Can it be done or not? He wen get dirty lickings. He really got injured badly. Kden latahs! Good-bye see you later.! Just an example. Lol!

Robyn is being Robyn and everyone and their mama knew all of this about her even before she got the head coaching postion. And potential recruits? I think her style and her local charisma is what brought in some amazing freshmen talent and transfers. I doubt how she talks bothered them one bit. Robyn is Robyn. She really could care less what others think of her. Here in Hawaii, nationally or internationally. If how a coach talks is the main reason they don’t play for Hawaii.....they weren’t gonna be a fit regardless because as far as I’m concerned, she is tame in those interviews and press conferences. They wouldn’t be able to handle her as a coach nor her style. So they don’t belong at UH playing for her. Btw, you seem to be equating pidgin for being uneducated or unintelligent. That’s a personal issue for both you and that potential recruit that thinks that way.

With all due respect to the Hawaii reporter, Hawaii did NOT post the ‘highest’ attendance either of the two nights of the first or second rounds. . .that would be Nebraska. On the mainland we call that #FakeNEWS. 1st round Hawaii- 7818 Nebraska- 8204 2nd Round Hawaii- 8058 Nebraska- 8091 Carry on You act like Hawai’i isn’t apart of the USA. Sit your okole down! And you act like 8204 isn’t more than 7818. . .an d 8091 isn’t more than 8058. . . Sorry snowflake. ..
