Over power Williams? Not going to happen. Krug is out of shape and not D1 material as of this past year. Look at ALL of the top talent teams. They have thin, muscular, and athletic middles. I'd love to see her transform into that player. I'm not seeing it. Need to remember, Krug has been unable to truly train, the last two years, due to knee issues. Getting back to being 100% and being able to train, she will get back to where she want to be in body form, and stamina. I believe people will be pleasantly surprised how she has transformed her body being able to truly train, 100%. Need to remember, Krug is coming off injury, missed an entire season and is a walk-on. You think she's gonna unseat an all-conference senior who got the starting nod even as a rookie? Need to remember, take your meds.

Who typically does the majority of traveling to tournaments for recruiting?
Girls season is going strong but I wonder if coaches have anyone local on their radar or a club(s) they tend to be drawn to? Shoji was always big on Mizuno Long Beach(Higgins, Iosia)
Because even with the talent and potential of this past year’s class for their junior season, like what’s been mentioned, it’s gotta be a goal to pick up a couple more solid 6 rotation pins that can SCORE POINTS and challenge Hellvig, Wagoner, Akana, and Westerberg at the pins

Higgins didn’t play for mizuno lol. She’s a local girl who went to Punahou. She played for jammers and kuikahi.

I knew it was a setter I should’ve double checked 😅

Robyn will be looking for 1 Middle, and 2 six rotation OH. These new players, do not have to be impact players from the get go. Since Hellvig, Igiede, Wagoner, Akana, and Westerberg will be Juniors in 2021. It would be good, though, to have at least 1 of the 2 Outside Hitters be an impact player.

She looks like she’s already used to taking a lot of swings for her club team. Would love to see a Middle/Opp come with her out of Texas and go after a Sports Performance, Munciana, or another club with great player track record

I do agree, seems like Hawaii is having a harder time recruiting the California top-tier athletes. Might as well go northwest, midwest and south for players looking for a change of scenery. We have Washington, Ohio, Louisiana and a bunch from Texas.

So Robyn needs to recruit a BIG Outside Hitter, like 6'3-6'4, to replace Jolie Rasmussen.

Don't think height is the main factor in who they go after next. Ah Mow wants the best athletes with high volleyball IQ that fit their program's culture. For outsides tho, she seems adamant to find outsides who can terminate AND play six-rotations. I would think Devon Kahahawai of Kamehameha is one player UH is going after hard as an outside 2021. I'd also think Maui Robins of Kamehameha as well.

Wouldn’t current HS sophomores be 2022 grads?
