No, future Olympian sisters Elaina Oden and Kim Oden played against each other in the final in 1985. Elaina Oden, a freshman hitter for the Pacific Tigers, had 24 kills against Stanford.

There should be a new poll.
"Will Katie George make it in time to pull a 'Khat Bell' for Louisville in the Elite Eight match tonight?"

Its too bad Louisville is getting all the attention - Minnesota's road to the regionals is a good story too - heartbreaking loss to finish 2018, transfers, overcoming injuries, changing offenses... Go Gophers; they deserve to be here.

Perfect timing to get from Waco to Austin. She would probably make it just in time or during the first set! But we're talking about a DBK-led team. She's not going to let something like Khatgate happen.

MN has served much better (Miller esp) & scrapped much like LOU. LOU beat TX with defense & could do the same to MN. dunno who will win but i think MN can match LOU on defense, so who will prevail on serve?

Go Gophers; they deserve to be here. Meh they underachieved last year in the tournament. Not really anyone's fault except their own. They've certainly shown some grit this tournament though

Go Gophers; they deserve to be here. Nobody says Minnesota shouldn't be here -- but it's clear why unseeded Louisville is getting the attention. Louisville has had to take out two seeded teams on their respective home courts. Minnesota was fortunate to be at home when they are down 2 match points against an unseeded team. Their other big win over Florida is in 5 on a neutral court.
