As Gray was about to serve at game point I couldn't help noticing that the performance coach on the Stanford bench was gathering his stuff to be able to jump up and switch sides. I was thinking "Don't do that!". No jinx, apparently.

Stanford started really slow (like they always do), can’t pass and when everything settled in, you know they’re unstoppable.

Penn State's strength is its middles. Its OHs (except for Parker) are well below their usual standard. Stanford's serving got PSU OOS and kept their middles of the net from 14-20 on. And that's all she wrote.
