Did Florida shut down volleyball as well? No it’s a bye week— first match is next Wednesday vs Auburn.

Further to my last post, looking at some video, it looks like Forte is more of an in front of the setter type of hitter anyway. Dooley could not run a slide while king preferred that! So should we worry of king or Dooley? Have recently witnessed Dooley working on a slide and doing it pretty well. More time for her to devolop it and to get the timing great with Marlie.

With the first match being less than a week away, what do people think the starting lineup will be? I think with the reduction of the NCAA field and fall games counting (not that I think there is a chance Florida doesn't get in and get a seed), I don't see Mary playing around. My thoughts...
S: Monserez OH: Hall (6 Rotations) OH: Caesar (Hammons BR) MH: Dooley MH: Okammor Oppo: Carlton (Fischer DS) Lib: McKissock
Also, wouldn't be surprised to see the occasional serving specialist for one of the middles although it's tough to tell who that would be.

I think she is a little more dynamic and has more firepower than Carlton. Carlton has provided a more consistency and her ability to serve/set has helped. They both are great choices but it seems that Holly has been more dependable so far.

Fan info: GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In preparation for the highly anticipated return of Florida volleyball, the University Athletic Association has announced a reduced capacity plan and fan procedures for the upcoming 2020 season in Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. To comply with physical distancing requirements, Exactech Arena will host a limited percentage of its listed seating, putting the capacity at 2,500. In accordance with campus guidelines, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required for all fans throughout the entire game. This includes when fans are entering and exiting the arena. Fans may only remove face coverings while actively eating or drinking. Failure to comply with this important health guideline could result in loss of ticket privileges. Tickets will be sold in pairs of two or four in a single-match format to comply with campus physical distancing guidelines. Those tickets can be purchased beginning on October 19 for 2020 Season Ticket Holders and October 20 for the general public, online here or over the phone at 352-375-4683. Student Tickets will be available the week of home matches via a pre-registration process (similar to what has been done with Men's Basketball) via FloridaGators.com/Students. Fans that renewed for the 2020 season already will be refunded the full amount and will need to purchase individual match tickets within the limited capacity model. Ticket PricingAdults - $5 Kids 12 & under - $1 UF students – Free Florida's home opener is slated for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Gators will host three other home contests this fall: Oct. 31 vs. Alabama (3 p.m.), Nov. 20 vs. Georgia (7 p.m.) and Nov. 21 vs. Georgia (5 p.m.). The 2020 SEC volleyball season will consist of an eight-match, conference-only schedule over six weeks of competition beginning Oct. 16 with each school competing against four opponents in a double-header format. As with everything related to the COVID-19 pandemic, this situation remains fluid. The aforementioned and following announcements are subject to change as recommendations from local, state, and federal officials evolve in relation to public health developments. Fans are encouraged to visit the 2020 schedule for the most up-to-date information. Mobile TicketingThe UAA will require mobile ticketing this fall in an effort to reduce contact between fans and staff. With this, fans will be able to access their tickets through the Florida Gators app from their mobile device, or via FloridaGators.com/myaccount. Fans can add their tickets to their respective Apple Wallet or Google Pay account for added safety and convenience. Fans will also be able to transfer or donate their tickets easily within the app or online. To learn more about mobile ticketing, please follow this link for a quick informational video. Fans can find the Florida Gators app download links for Apple and Google here. Inside the O'Dome:The safety of our student-athletes, staff, and fans remains our top priority, meaning fans will see new guidelines, signage and enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the arena. Please note this includes all fans abiding by a strict physical distancing policy of six feet between groups. Physical distancing will also be required when entering and exiting the arena. As a reminder, all fans must wear face coverings (over the nose and mouth) when entering, once inside and when exiting the arena, with the lone exception being while they are eating or drinking. Updated Bag Policy
The Stephen C. O'Connell Center has updated its bag policy for the 2020 season. No bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12" will be permitted. For the complete list of security policies, visit www.oconnellcenter.ufl.edu.
