It’s cause she doesn’t play in BIG. That’s where the exposure is at. Lol Watchu doing in our thread, boofie? I was playing like I do everywhere but I’m so tired so I’m taking my ball and going home. Boof needs a vacation. That blossom joke took everything I had left yesterday.

Hammons at libero would be a gutsy and potentially clutch move. A lot more balls hit high off the hands over a normal libero's head in the backcourt could be picked up. I think she's good enough to be libero, but I'm not sure we want to lose her back row attack if she plays as a DS. IMO this would be a GREAT decision by Mary. Two of Floridas biggest issues this past year were consistency in receive and Hammons consistency in the front row and this solves both problems, allowing Hammons to run the backcourt and puts Ceasar in the front court (never seen her play but everyone seems to think she's great). I think this would improve Florida so much just because of all the experience that will be on the floor. Also if Hammons wants to attempt to play on the NT there is no chance she can get there hitting. The move from outside to libero worked out well for CK and Florida. And the national team has favored outside hitters in the libero position because of the mentality. I think Hammons would be a great choice if none of the DSs can step up.

Agreed. They've only got her for one year so I'm sure they'll use her as much as possible. Why only one year? Won't this year be a redshirt? In-conf transfer. Lost a year.

Why only one year? Won't this year be a redshirt? In-conf transfer. Lost a year. She'll recover that year since the new rule went into affect last year regarding transfers. All they will need to do is apply with SEC for waiver. It is no longer a loss of a year for intra-conference transfers.

Not correcting you because when it all went down with Ceasar last November/December those rules were all being worked out. On the books she has only 1 year left, if she did not get a signed waiver from UGA. Now a player may transfer withing B1G, PAC, SEC, and Big12 (I don't know if the ACC had that type of rule) and not lose a year to conference intra-transfer rule and they no longer need a waiver.
