Why only one year? Won't this year be a redshirt? In-conf transfer. Lost a year. That stinks.

Oh nice. Thanks for the info. I know you were happy for another opportunity to correct me. You're welcome. More to come. Not correcting you because when it all went down with Ceasar last November/December those rules were all being worked out. On the books she has only 1 year left, if she did not get a signed waiver from UGA. Now a player may transfer withing B1G, PAC, SEC, and Big12 (I don't know if the ACC had that type of rule) and not lose a year to conference intra-transfer rule and they no longer need a waiver. Oh wow. Didn't know this. Open the floodgates.

The biggest hole in our game is at the middle position to me. While Dooley has shown prowess at blocking her offense to me is still a question mark... darielle can produce often but struggled blocking... I am kinda hoping for a transfer there. A few friends and I were having a discussion the other day where we were listing the line up we would use if we did an all star team from all Gators 2004-2019. While there were debates for certain positions because of the wealth of talent in that long of a span, MB was something we all seemed to agree on as the weakest position. I’m wondering why we can’t find high quality for that role when we can everywhere else. I feel like we got spoiled if the years of Chloe and Rhamat back to back. Killingsworth, Anderson, antwi, and Kramer were very talented just not stars. I would love another star in the middle too.

Hammons at libero would be a gutsy and potentially clutch move. A lot more balls hit high off the hands over a normal libero's head in the backcourt could be picked up. I think she's good enough to be libero, but I'm not sure we want to lose her back row attack if she plays as a DS. Hammons Defensive ability would not make an elite libero. I’m a huge hammons fan, but ball control and defense are 2 different things. She isn’t scrappy, she doesn’t dig heavy heat consistently. She’s very good at serve receive, but is not an exceptional defender. I am not saying she’s a bad defender at all but she hasn’t shown that she has the ability to hit the floor and dig heat consistently.

Y’all are sleeping on hammons. She’s a complete six rotation player and starts.

Y’all are sleeping on hammons. She’s a complete six rotation player and starts. I think that is why stanfordvb says don't handcuff her at libero. He's right that although she has great 6Ro passing skills, she's not quite the libero level passer/go-getter; and you're right that she has too many tools, including a go-to back row attack, to limit her to that jersey. I expect great things her senior year.

If Hammons is not a starting 6 rotation outside next year I will be shocked.
