Looks like there is trouble in paradise.... Non of the seniors are returning and 3 players are transferring; -7 players... What going on in Florida??? Think practically here. Soko, King and Holly are 5th year seniors, and probably are ready to be done with college. Soko and King barely played, so unless they just love the bench, no point. Holly can get a pro contract and start making money, so why not? Paige is transferring because she got beat out and wants to start somewhere. Makes sense. Warner should have transferred after her freshman year when she barely played and knew she'd be behind Holly for 2 more years. No surprise, other than how long it took. And the defenders? They just aren't as good as McK, and if they now have 2 years and can go somewhere where they get to wear the L jersey instead of occasionally subbing in, more power. to them I think the COVID experience and the free year are driving a LOT of transfers, especially Juniors who can now have 2 years at a new place vs transferring for just 1 (which is rare anyway). |

Yeah nothing is really crazy. It makes sense for Warner, and you're right that she should've done it two years ago. And Birdie was even playing DS at the end of this season in front of Riley and Paula, so it makes sense that they'd want to play somewhere else if they're not even close to getting on the floor. And I definitely think McKissock showed us that they weren't going to best her out |

So who plays Opp next year? Do we move one of Thayer or T’ara over? Do we convert one of the middles? Will one of the freshman OHs play over there? Or do we get a transfer? I’m very curious to see what happens!

I’m very curious to see what happens! I’d love to see one of the 2 freshmen MB over there. Creates a huge wall and a dynamic 3 MB offensive system, akin to Wisky and Texas. With Forte, Dooley, and Nnedi, seems foolish not to convert one of them and leverage their athleticism. |
