LOL, yeah I saw you ventured out onto other threads and were making friends by spreading sunshine with your posts. Every option for having a season has been discussed and unfortunately nothing will be decided with any fall sports in SEC until a FOOTBALL decision has been decided. Haha....yeah sadly sunshine was not what I've been accused of "spreading"! Hopefully, some good positive news soon!! FTR I think we'd be good friends IRL. Hoping things turn the corner and we hear good news soon!

Have you seen the roster issues with baseball already ? tough and you still have redshirting available if they so choose unless the NCAA allows more scholarships or allows partial for 2021 season or plays in spring which means two full club seasons of coaches being inactive for recruiting I'm curious, are there stats out there at what happened with spring sports and extended eligibility? How many choose to stay? How many choose to play but transfer and how many moved on? I can speak to Florida softball. 4 seniors will return for 2021 season and 2 decided to not return. Baseball is still unknown I believe, but we expect many to return due to the draft only being 5 rounds. What is most interesting is that every class got their year back. So, the senior class of 2024 will be a mega class including the freshman classes of spring 2020 and spring 2021. That's assuming all those athletes in the 2020 class decide to stay an extra year for grad school after playing the next 3. My guess is many don't use that extra year. Much easier for this year's freshman to come to terms with losing this season vs this year's seniors.

Don't tell trollhunter! He already said he wasn't sure why many of us were warning this would happen.

For volleyball I wonder if they'll do back to back play like being rumored in Big -12. So A&M would goto LSU and play Friday/Sat games and then Florida May goto A&M and play 2 matches there.

If that was to be the case I'd take it. If only a 10 game season then I'd rather take my chances in the spring.

The SEC announced in July that the sports of men's and women's cross country, soccer and volleyball would be postponed through at least August 31. Start dates and schedules for those sports, as well as sports in their non-traditional seasons during the fall, will be announced at a later date. Sounds like it may be pushed back further? Seems like it would be easier to play and keep contained a 15-20 person roster of Vball compared to an 85+ roster of football players? But what do I know.

Don't tell trollhunter! He already said he wasn't sure why many of us were warning this would happen. Nice revisionist history. I pointed out that your claims of it being a "given" or trending that way were false, when you ignored that 2 of P5 just declared they weren't going conference-only at the time. But hey, whatever makes you feel good.
