Kentucky graduates 3 starters, including LOY and POY. Rebuilding? lol no, not rebuilding. If those 3 starters aren't using their extra year of eligibility, the major loss would be Lilley. But with that stacked offense, they'd still be very competitive with a decent setter. Tharp and Fischer will step in where the other starters left off no doubt. Where do you see Fischer starting? Assuming no one comes back, my prediction for next year would be M. Skinner, Stumler at OHs, Rutherford at OPP, Tealer, Goetz at MB, Tharp at Libero and Walker stepping in as DS. I'm hopeful Grome lives up the hype at S. Williams could challenge for an MB spot. Kentucky likely has a top 3 recruiting class for 2021 (if that hasn't been announced yet) to follow their 2020 #1 class. They'll be elite for the next 4-5 years at least.

Oh yeah, I think that's based entirely on honoring them during senior day though. I don't think we know for sure one way or the other.

I agree Madi Skinner will move left. Rutherford at OPP or maybe Fisher. We do have a pretty good middle coming in. Grome is the setter coming in. Good hands, quick but undersized at 5'9, being generous. But they also have Cameron S and Rutherford as setters. But Tharp and Walker will be great, or Beavin(incoming) is solid as well on defense.

I don’t really see a way for Fischer to get into the line up. Also everytime she has been subbed in it has been on the left so I don’t think they are looking at her as an OPP

Grome looks like she has great hands and is super athletic. I'd take an undersized setter at 5'9" with outstanding hands over a 6'0" setter with average hands any day. Plus, blocking has never really been UK's forte.

Craig Skinner has said she’s the best passing freshman OH he’s ever had. Now I don’t know if that’s just coach talk but he did say it FWIW

I don't have the numbers. She wasn't a primary passer this year (obviously), but they did keep her in some passing rotations, which is promising. We didn't see her out of the back row at all this year (at least to my memory) -- if she has a good back row attack, I could see Skinner leaving her in for 6-rotations. If she doesn't, UK has plenty of DSs. I didn't think A. Skinner would play 6-rotations but here we are -- UK obviously likes to always have that back row option, so I would say we should start with the assumption that they'll try her playing 6-rotations.

I remember that a broadcaster in the fall said coach Skinner said Madi might be one of the best freshman passing outsides he's ever had. So that's something. Won't know if the stats back that up until next season most likely.

Y’all don’t have Williams as a starting MB for Kentucky next year? That’s arguably their weakest position. She makes them better from Day 1.
