Also the Stanford seniors deserve to win this one. Rettke and Haggerty still have a chance next year. Stanford seniors deserve nothing more than the WI seniors. Silly statement. Precisely. Stanford won so many trophies already, how about giving Wisconsin a go here?

Really a shame this isn't Stanford vs Utah. Even though Utah barely beat the 7th best team in the B1G, they deserve to play Stanford as late as possible in the tournament. A double digit loss team “deserves” to be in the national championship match? What is happening...

If Fitzmorris can stop getting dug and gets kills and Plummer stays hot then it’s over in 3.

I really think this is the year Wisconsin gets the ring. Maybe four but very well could be five.

Plummer’s hitting numbers in the tournament - 6.64 kills per set, .408 hitting percentage Dam*.... Anything can be done to stop her? She's putting balls to the ground at about the 13 foot line from the back row. It's impressive to watch.

I'll go with Wisconsin because when I was in college, I had a discussion with a Chemistry major classmate who couldn't stop singing the praises of Wisconsin's chemical engineering program. This was in the 1980s when the only college rankings we had access to was the Gourman Report, which was a very mysterious ranking of the top universities by field of study. And yes, Wisconsin was #2 or #3 or something like that. I said, "Well, geeez, you love Wisconsin so much, why didn't you go to Wisconsin?" I can't remember his response. OMG - the Gourman Report - Wolf, you are always bringing up the best oldies - getting flashbacks on my original major of “Chem Engine” although not at Wisconsin - didn’t finish in that field 😳

Wisconsin needs a lot more out of Duello and Loberg than they got last night. Somewhat surprised Wisconsin beat Baylor in 4 with as little as those two contributed offensively. Not that they didn't contribute in other ways, but one of UW's big strengths is their balance on offense. They were missing that last night, and will really need it against Stanford's big block.

Yeah, I actually think the badgers didn’t play that well on offense last night although so some of that was due to the disruption Baylor caused. Baylor must have changed up something on the block too. Hilley’s connection with Duello and Loberg looked off. As the match went on they got more comfortable.

I think the match comes down to Loberg vs. McClure. Whoever can put balls away consistently against the opposing huge block will win. Loberg struggled but I have faith that she turns it around tomorrow. Badgers in 5.

Tough to pick against Stanford but I think this Wisconsin team is special. They have a big block that really sets up their back court well. Their offense is going to have to be better than it was tonight but that's doable. Give me Wisconsin in 5. This will be an instant classic. You don't think this Stanford team is special? Parity is coming fast, but I think this group would still have to rate a bit above average.

I have zero doubt that the two best teams in the country are in the final!
