Thanks for the reminders about why I find it so easy to support the Gophers — Regan and Lauren are both excellent examples of what really matters. Sure, it’s nice to win, but at the end of the day it’s the quality of the people that matter. And that’s athletes, coaches, and others around the program.

It does seem to be getting late in the game for her to suddenly announce she is leaving and trying to sign with a club.

My bet is she stays. Has she graduated yet? I am trying to recall any media that shows her in the cap and gown but am not coming up with anything.

Do not rule out the possibility she transfers somewhere for her last year of eligibility. I think all three options are on the table.

This would have nothing to do with dissatisfaction with Minnesota. But she has graduated. She may want something new, but not professional.

This would have nothing to do with dissatisfaction with Minnesota. But she has graduated. She may want something new, but not professional. If she is coming back for fall 2021, and she wants to win a natty more than anything else … she indeed might want to look around. With Pittman leaving, and Shaffmaster probably being a year away from top level form, I don’t think next year’s team is in contention. Would love to be wrong on that. |
