So, there was More Punzel out today. What struck me was near the end from Sheffield: “I’m certainly excited about what’s down the road,” Sheffield said. “We’ve got some great pieces that are coming back and we’ve got some great people coming in that have a chance to figure into the equation. And there’s always a spot or two for a possible transfer."I think I am suffering from transfer fatigue because I groaned a bit. Hmmm. Does that mean someone is leaving? Last I figured, there were no schollies left.

I think he meant for someone to transfer in.

I think he meant for someone to transfer in. Right, but that person would either walk on or someone would have to leave to free up a scholarship, no?

Yes, but for someone to transfer in (on scholarship) he would have to have someone vacate a scholarship. If everyone's math on this is correct. If it is a DS or something like Barnes was, then maybe it could happen. I think they have what they need on the roster. Whether you can still get better with a transfer is a separate question.
I mean, we could certainly speculate on people on the roster who might want to transfer. But, that won't be very responsible/appropriate on our part.

I'd like to see WI get in a 4 year deal with Baylor, Texas, and lets say Illinois, for example, for a rotating Big 10/12 challenge at each site. RPI gold.
Also, I hope the UW athletic department (possibly in conjunction with Marquette), is making bids for the Final 4 at the Fiserv Forum.

Center District and Convention Center are across the street. I know they have built a few more hotels like the Hyatt, and there is also the City Center Hilton nearby. I think you want UW-Milwaukee to be host. Some of the Mecca could be used that way for practice.

My way-too-early thoughts: Haggerty / Loberg (Kraft) Rettke / Hart Hilley / Robinson (Ashburn) Barnes Do you think Gregorski will get any pt?

Only if her serving and defense are better than Kraft or Ashburn that it’s worth it to have her on there over another. Maybe she edges out Kraft, but Ashburn gives us too much not to have on the floor.

How would you guys evaluate the careers of the departing Badger seniors overall? Clark, Duello, Dodge, Dixon, etc.

This class had a lot of selfless players, players who were willing to make changes for the success of the team, gritty, adapting, they won a lot, they competed hard at a high level, and their legacy will be remembered.

I went to a Bucks game there and thought the view was much better in the upper deck than Target Center.

As a selling point, the lake can make downtown Milwaukee a bit warmer in December, which can turn snow elsewhere to rain or just make it a little more pleasant. Water Street is relatively close to Fiserv for walking, and the east side (the lake juts in at downtown, so there is one, non-Wisconsinites) and Third Ward are close cab or Uber rides, so there are places to get food and drink.

Hi, Stanford fan here (PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME)….I have watched the recent NC match ~5 times. Your team never gave up, gave it everything they had, & your Molly Haggerty is a warrior: Period!
You also are the best fanbase on VT, period (including my own). You guys, for the most part, are most knowledgeable, cooperative, & friendly (Not sucking up; have had a few PMs with y'all).
You and your program have a bright future. I picked you to make the FF, and NC match, in 2020.
The team I watched in the match a few days back should make you proud! Cheers/ Happy Holidays.
