I think we are waiting for some decisions. No way they open up a contact sport and not others. The NCAA has a say in all other sports, though. They don't in football. The fall seasons that the SEC, ACC and Big 12 will attempt to compete in for volleyball and others may not mean much. When the NCAA postponed fall championships they attempted to brow beat the ACC, SEC and Big 12 into postponing sports, too. But, they have plowed through, if for no other reason than to continue to justify football. I am hoping for some fall matches in the B1G, but I realize it won't be all that much.

I wouldn't mind some Fall scrimmages with other teams as long as they can keep everyone safe. That last thing is the tricky part. They have to play a program that can be trusted to manage COVID properly, in a place that is properly controlled. Sounds like protocols are all over the map. I imagine there are lots of things to work out. I'm not sure I want them spending time and focus getting it to work unless there is a big upside for team preparation for whatever season happens.

That doesn't make sense given the ACC, SEC and Big 12 are playing volleyball. But, they are playing in the fall without a fall championship to build toward. the only reason there isn't a championship in those other sports is because there'd be less than 50% of schools competing.

True. I don't know where they stand on that 50% threshold if the B1G and PAC come back online. But, I doubt the NCAA revisits that decision. Especially since the season would have already started under normal circumstances.

Really nice to see them in the gym again. I really wanted to hear Arias and Waite give the play by play over that Dodgeball match, though.
When we gonna get that promised scrimmage to watch?

Young woman is going to need to hire an architectural firm to design a structure big enough to house all of her trophies and awards.
