Have to assume, at this point, that the March 28 spring match against Milwaukee is not going to happen. And, if it does, probably not open to the public.

Not sure if this applies to the spring match, it appears to, but it was in their replies further explaining "All university-sponsored travel is cancelled through April 10. Those who travel regularly as part of their job will typically continue to do so, but should check with their deans or other unit directors." And this "All campus events (including @uwmadisonext-sponsored events outside of Dane County) of more than 50 people are canceled through at least April 10, with limited exceptions to be granted by deans or vice chancellors."

Yeah, we have the same issue. Half my emails seem to be about dealing with reimbursements for cancelled travel.

The fact is that the virus is almost certainly circulating among us way more than we know right now, and we have no way of knowing how much. The example of Italy has everyone terrified. We don't have the hospital capacity Italy has, so we could really be up the creek on this one.
I can't believe that DeBlasio is still considering allowing St Pats day parade.

You are right, it isn't explicit. And so far as I know it has not yet been canceled. I am just going out on a very sturdy limb at this point in declaring that the match won't happen. Or, it won't happen with us there to see it.

This might be a paper award, no ceremony.

I have to say thank you for YouTube reruns during this time of "social distancing." It seems I never get tired of seeing the Badgers beat the Huskers in 2019.

Clark isn't letting social distancing slow her down.

Re-watched the Baylor Final Four match last night. I was struck again by how surprising it was that the Badgers didn't close out the 1st set. But, also, very thankful that in the battle of 1st Team AA setters we had Hilley. Also, considering how all spring activities are canceled, I am selfishly very happy that I got to see the team play again on the 8th. Only 10 days ago, but seems like a lifetime. Got my BadgerVball fix. Hopefully we get through Corona and things get back to some degree of normalcy within a few months. And, this made me smile today. Stay safe out there.
