Dana Rettke (Junior Year) 2019 Highlights: Love how she celebrates after a block. Emotionless walk to the huddle, occasional finger-wagging then full outburst when she's with her team. See 0:22 for an example. Lol!

No talk on the Punzel article yet? It really is the offseason. Though, as I am trapped in my house (as many of you are as well) I just assumed people would be living on here. I have become obsessive. I can only read so many books. Anyway, intrigued by the comment about being on recruiting trips in Greece, Louisville and Kansas City. Mostly intrigued by the Greece trip. Not that I have any idea who in Louisville or KC he would be looking at either. But, with Orzol (Not going to figure out how to write that properly) and Smrek, past players like Kriskova and Mikaelsen, I do like the international flavor of the program. It is an international university, afterall. Of Sheffield comments on Robinson, this is the one that struck me (and what I observed as well): “She moves differently than most of the players on our team.” Too bad on Riley Bell having to retire. But, I get it.

Sad to hear about Riley. I'm glad she'll stay around the team when they start up again.

Nice article. Good on Sheffield for calming her down about the OG postponement. I'm not sure that the wait hurts Lauren either. I don't a see a big change in the covey of setters the USWNT might choose from in a year, so the landscape will look pretty similar. It might actually help Dana though.

It isn't a vacation for me. I've never worked so hard and done so many things outside my job description, in my entire life! I'm just trying to duct tape my department together. Same here. It's absolutely bananas. I know people working in health care and in grocery stores, so I can understand how things can get bananas. And, concerning for their well being. I have also seen where some in my part of the economy have been burdened with additional work. I just figured there were plenty more who were bored like me. I am still working, from home, but I find I need more mental distractions at home than in the office. This is the result

Will do what I can. With absolutely nothing going on in sports, there is not much left to say, analyze, post, etc. Been a few good news days in a row with Kraft, Carlini, and Punzel stories. We may be walking into some dark days now, though.
