If I were a volleyball program looking to expand/maintain my local fan base, I would be on the phone with all the local TV stations and brokering an agreement with BTN to broadcast this volleyball season!
There would be some resistance from BTN since they get subscription revenue, but that could be overcome. Even if games could get on broadcast stations on a tape delayed basis, it would help get the product in front of more potential fans than just those motivated to buy the product from BTN live...

So, is this just a one-time thing on the travel partner swap between PSU-Rutgers and Maryland-OSU? The plan before this season was to do away with travel partners all together. These home and home matchups are based purely upon geographic proximity.

Is Flo still going to be broadcasting BTN+ games like they have in the past?

At which B1G school do I have the best shot of getting tickets? ? I'd guess Iowa. Both because of arena size and how the state responded to the virus. Least likely mn, Michigans, WI, psu, Rutgers, MD, IL, NW

No one is selling tickets are they? I think volleyball will be seen as high risk, low reward in that respect. I am interested in seeing what BTN does about this situation.

Least likely mn, Michigans, WI, psu, Rutgers, MD, IL, NW No go at Iowa. This is what is stated on the Iowa website within the story about the schedule release (link below): "Due to the coronavirus pandemic, home attendance will be limited to families only." And reminder that the Hawks will be playing in our new volleyball arena now so matches will no longer be in cavernous Carver-Hawkeye. hawkeyesports.com/news/2020/12/30/volleyball-announces-2021-spring-schedule/

Big Ten Network was added to Sling *\o/* N YAY !! GO NEBRASKA _/\_ You go to the BTN website and find absolutely no information about volleyball...even their archives stink. All Football all the time...it's even weak for men's basketball. Sad. It's 2021! How hard is it to set up a section for upcoming spring sports and do some promo and post the schedule?

BTN already provides the best/most volleyball coverage in the country..... it's the holidays/high football&basketball period. give them a break lol

In case you are interested: btn.com/about/contact-us/Don't get your hopes up. There's basketball nearly every night of the week. And they aren't going to air volleyball ahead of basketball. I'm guessing schools will produce their own in-house feeds that you can watch on BTN+. This won't be unique to the Big Ten. VolleyTalkers are going to be irate when they realize how little volleyball will be broadcast in January, February and early March.
