I think 2020 is going to be a rough year. I don’t think it’ll be as rough as 2018 though

Isn’t endsley more of a ball control player? I thought she would be an OH and Samantha would stay on the right No. She reminds me of Foecke more than a McClure type player

So Houghton who only played 10 sets this year is expected to come in and take over back court duties? I would think if Crenshaw is not going to be an OH, she will be the libero over someone who has barely played She's the only player currently on the roster who has actually played libero in a match. Crenshaw and Calle haven't, ever. A transfer is possible. The idea of a tall libero is always intriguing. Worked pretty well with Tia Scambray.

For referred McPherson passed a 2.23. The top Liberos in the nation pass ~2.35. If you had a Libero passing a 2.02 the offense would fail to function.

Maybe if we start a rumor Nuneviller is transferring to the UW it will subconsciously register with her. Then we just sit tight and hope for the best. I just don't hold out a lot of hope for Oregon - losing some key seniors and a reliance on a lot of fresh faces will be painful; maybe they'll get another seasonal case of transferitis and a helping will land on the UW's plate. Everyone's hoping for Brooke, but no one is fighting for Oregon's starting libero who was the TOP ranked libero recruit in high school.

I don’t think it’ll be as rough as 2018 though I do. Me too. I don't think people fully realize how important Bajema was to the success the Huskies had this year. I've been watching Husky volleyball for many years and I can't think of any player they have depended on more.

I can think of a few, but that doesn't mean I disagree that Kara was very important to the success the team had this year. However, I'm not going to worry about next year. Next year is next year, and a new chance for new players (and a new chance for current players, too). In college sports it's always "next woman up". That's how it works.

VT has a pretty good source for Nuneviller, so no need to start rumors.

So, are any Oregon players in the Transfer Portal? I haven't heard of any. Many transfers are already set up through back channels, before they show up on the Portal, however. Still, Oregon would have to fire Ulmer for there to be any chance they'd release transfers from having to sit out a year before playing at UW or any other Pac-12 school.

Abby Hansen was a redshirt frosh MB who transferred from USC to Oregon in the same week. Not sure if the near-simultaneous transfers had anything to do with both of them being eligible to play this season. I could see how both coaches would decide to waive the rule in that situation (even if they would not necessarily waive it in other situations).
