Jordyn is definitely a great player no doubt. Gala played on Coast 18-1 team that finished 5th on Nationals (not the same team as Jordyn). She is also selected for USA U18 Youth National Team training program this summer in Anaheim. I think there was some tongue in cheek from West Virginia Super fan =) No “tongue in cheek.” Jordyn was a vital player on the scva regional high performance team which took home gold at HP champs in 2019. A lot can change in two years; Jordyn has developed herself into a top class of 2022 libero, and there’s no doubting it. Why she didn’t commit to a more historically applauded volleyball program baffles me, however as a West Virginia fan I am not complaining one bit. In 15s season, Jordyns team basically placed fifth at GJNC.

The amount of hate Texas gets is just pathetic 🤣 any thread where Texas is brought up, majority of the comments are from jealous fans who are upset their program is not and never will be on the same level as Texas. Sorry your teams can't make it past the 2nd round🥴 Nothing that was said in the past few pages was hateful. With the +covid year, Texas, as of right now, is loaded to the point where any incoming pin should assume they will be redshirting their first year and will have to work hard and cross their fingers as far as playing time the following year. When you’re losing players like Malual and introducing a 6-2 so you don’t lose Parra, it just doesn’t make sense to go to somewhere like that when you’re good enough to start all 4 years IF you’re not competing with NCAA Finalists and National Team members. Lol its ok, you really all shouldn’t be so sensitive about it. Texas recruited well so they’re not really in need of anything for the upcoming season or 2 and still have good enough depth that actually needs practice time over playing time in order to be Texas caliber players and starters in their later years (Williams)

1 — USC Recruits (4): No. 2 Jordan Middleton, 6-2 OH, Hamilton HS (AZ), AZ Storm Elite; No. 7 Adonia Faumuina, 6-2 S/RS, Long Beach Poly HS (CA), Mizuno Long Beach; No. 49 Rylie McGinest, 6-1 MB, Long Beach Poly HS (CA), Mizuno Long Beach; No. 90 Gala Trubint, 5-8 L/OH, Scripps Ranch HS (CA), COAST
USC got the nod for the No. 1 spot here, and that’s great news for first-year head coach Brad Keller who earned those commitments soon after he arrived at USC. One of the best things coach Terry Spann did for uber-athletic Jordan Middleton at AZ Storm Elite was make her suffer through the pains of moving from MB to OH in her 15s year of club. Middleton now leads Hamilton HS in kills with 4.5 per set. Gala Trubint is one of the more skilled all-around players in this dominating class and will compete to move into the libero position for the Trojans. Adonia Faumuina and Rylie McGinest continue to polish their skills – together. With tons of experience playing in the same jersey already both in high school and in club, Faumuina has excelled at whichever position she’s tried and seems to float around the court. McGinest, the daughter of former NFL player Willie McGinest, has improved more than a lot of other athletes we’ve had the opportunity to watch over the last two seasons and there is no doubt she’s not done yet. USC also has a slew of Beach commits including No. 112 Delaney Karl.
2 — MINNESOTA Recruits (4): No. 3 McKenna Wucherer, 6-1 OH, Brookfield Central HS (WI), MKE Sting; No. 15 Carter Booth, 6-7 MB, Cherry Creek HS (CO), Colorado Jrs; No. 21 Julia Hanson, 6-0 MB, Prior Lake HS (MN), Northern Lights; Mandi Morioka, 5-7 L/DS, South HS (CA), Mizuno Long Beach
There have been arguments to put McKenna Wucherer in the No. 1 spot overall, and we acknowledge those! This club season she played up two age divisions with the 18s and we witnessed her craft and awareness of the game on another level. Carter Booth has the potential to be one of the great MBs in the Big Ten and since moving to Colorado, Booth has displayed more confidence as her game also flourishes.
3 — NEBRASKA Recruits (3): No. 1 Hayden Kubik, 6-2 OH, Valley HS (IA), Club Ignit Select; No. 6 Bekka Allick, 6-3 MB, North Star HS (NE), VCNebraska; Maisie Boesiger, 5-6 S/L, Norris HS (NE), Premier Nebraska
Hayden Kubik is the top-ranked athlete in this class with Bekka Allick close behind. Kubik will walk into our current No. 1 2021 Class in Lincoln where she will have to compete against three really good OHs. Allick and Maisie Boesiger are hometown athletes and playing with that pride in your back pocket goes a long way with Husker Nation.
4 — FLORIDA Recruits (5): No. 10 Amaya Thomas, 6-3 MB, University HS (FL), OTVA; No. 16 Alexis Stucky; 6-2 S, Laramie HS (WY), Norco; No. 24 Carly Hendrickson, 6-2 OH, Mount Notre Dame (OH), Elevation; No. 26 Emily Canaan, 5-8L/DS, Allen HS (TX), Skyline Jrs; No. 76 Emerson Hoyle, 5-9L/DS, TC Roberson (NC), Xcel
Florida native Amaya Thomas sealed the deal for us putting Florida in the top-five to make four recruits ranked better than 30. The Gators gathered many of their 2022 recruits early when the communication window opened up again. Carly Hendrickson will lead her MND team in the State semifinals this weekend and Alexis Stucky won hers! Stucky has gotten to be more of an attacker this season as little sis Maddy Stucky stepped in to set.
5 — BAYLOR Recruits (4): No. 4 Averi Carlson, 5-11 S, Lovejoy HS (TX), Skyline Jrs; No. 5 Alexis Dacosta, 5-10 OH, Fulshear HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 32 Allie Sczech, 6-2 RS, George Ranch HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 93 Sophia Keene, 6-1 OH, Concordia Lutheran (TX), Houston Skyline
Baylor has a huge class in 2021 (nine athletes!), but the 2022 Class is no slouch! Each is from the Lone Star State, too. Averi Carlson, the No. 1 setter in her grade and former PrepVolleyball.com National HS Sophomore of the Year, made her choice to play for the Bears over many other top programs. Alexis Dacosta, Allie Sczech, and Sophia Keene all contribute to Houston Skyline and have known great success.
6 — TEXAS Recruits (2): No. 12 Marianna Singletary, 6-4 MB, Porter-Gaud HS (SC), A5;No. 39 Emma Halter, 5-5 L/DS, Roncalli HS (IN), Team Indiana
Texas doesn’t have a single recruit in the 2021 class, so a lot is riding on this one. With the new eligibility rules that give players another year of eligibility, this might be the entire class for the Longhorns, but time will tell. Current Texas MBs Brionne Butler, Molly Phillips, and Asjia O’Neal will (likely) all be there early in Marianna Singletary’s career leaving her plenty of time to step into a really dominant role in Austin. Texas regularly has a fiery stable of liberos ready to sub in for front-row attackers and Emma Halter will compete well for one of those spots.
7 — NORTHWESTERN
Recruits (3): No. 17 Kathryn Randorf, 6-0 MB/OH, Gilmour Academy (OH), AVC; No. 35 Averie Hernandez, 6-2 OH, Normal West (IL), Illini Elite; No. 51 Sienna Noordermeer, 5-11 S, Village Christian (CA), SG Elite; Kennedy Hill, 6-0 MB, Harvard Westlake HS (CA), Surfside
We’ve had some confusion about what position Kathryn Randorf actually plays; some claim to have only seen her on the pin more recently while others say she fills a bigger need in the middle. That’s not a problem for the Northwestern coaches who may make that call once Randorf is in its gym in just over a year. She is the only player who is currently playing a fall high school season and is on her way to the State tournament with Gilmour Academy.
8 — OKLAHOMA Recruits (4): No. 20 Taylor Preston, 6-2 MB/OH, St. Henry (KY), NKYVC; No. 59 Alexis Shelton, 6-2 OH/RS, Ardrey Kell HS (NC), Carolina Union; No. 64 Morgan Perkins, 6-1 MB, Episcopal HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 85 Chloe Kaminski, 5-9 OH/L, Blue Springs HS (MO), Dynasty
Morgan Perkins had been recruited to the Sooners for some time, but the others have fallen suit since this summer. Each is poised with versatility and experience playing at a high level with Taylor Preston being a part of the USA Volleyball pipeline.
9 — NOTRE DAME Recruits (4): No. 9 Lucy Trump, 6-0 OH, Ryle HS (KY), Tri-State Elite; No. 33 Eva Hudson, 6-1 OH, Dwenger HS (IN), Munciana; No. 115 Harmony Sample, 5-11 S/RS, Hebron HS (TX), TAV; Cailey Dockery, 5-7 L/DS, (GA), A5
It seems like it’s always been Notre Dame for Lucy Trump, as she has been promised to the Fighting Irish for years. The other three recruits have been as recent as this summer. Eva Hudson is a nice compliment to Trump and Harmony Sample adds some good versatility to both the 2021 and 2022 classes. We expect Cailey Dockery to continue to emerge as one of the great liberos in her class.
10 — UNC Recruits (5): No. 14 Anita Babic, 6-0 S, Corona del Sol HS (AZ), AZ Storm Elite; No. 29 Carter Mogridge, 6-4 MB/OH, Steinbrenner HS (FL), OTVA; No. 63 Ella Bostic, 6-0 S, Carmel HS (IN), Munciana; No. 100 Cadence Shea, 6-1 MB/OH/RS, St. Joseph’s (OH), AVC; Ava Swain, 6-1 OH, Berkeley Prep (FL), OTVA
Ella Bostic made her commitment announcement this weekend. It was an interesting fact, having one of the best setters already committed to the Tar Heels in Anita Babic, but UNC has been known to run a successful 6-2 offense… or, possibly a 5-2 with so much size in the setting position. Cadence Shea has switched high schools and clubs, as Carter Mogridge has, too. Ava Swain and Mogridge are now in the same area and will likely be club teammates until arriving at Chapel Hill.
11 — TEXAS A&M Recruits (5): No. 18 Ava Underwood, 5-6 L/DS, Fulshear HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 22 Lexi Guinn, 6-0 OH, Frisco HS (TX), Skyline Jrs; No. 78 Logan Lednicky, 6-2 RS, George Ranch HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 130 Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, 6-1 MB, Marcus HS (TX), Madfrog; Ital Lopuyo, 6-7 MB/RS, Omaha Central HS (NE), Nebraska Jrs
To be a libero at TAMU is a big deal as it has had many great ones in recent years. Ava Underwood has a sound platform and provides some great leadership in the position. Since the Woodard twins, Cimone and Bria, took back their commitment and chose Howard University instead, that opened up some needs to welcome Ifenna Cos-Okpalla and Ital Lopuyo.
12 — MISSOURI Recruits (4): No. 31 Riley Buckley, 6-0 S/OH, North Raleigh Christian (NC), NC Academy; No. 46 Janet deMarrais, 6-2 OH, Grapevine HS (TX), TAV; No. 66 Madilyn Sell, 6-2 MB, Marquette HS (MO), Rockwood Thunder; No. 131 Estella Zatechka, 5-9 L/DS, Elkhorn South HS (NE), Premier Nebraska
Missouri coaches Josh and Molly Taylor have created a new generation of excited Tiger recruits led by Riley Buckley, the one-time PrepVolleyball.com National HS Freshman of the Year. With athletes pointing at both of the coaches’ high level of playing, genuinely kind demeanors, and love for the program, the Taylors have picked athletes who would run through a wall for their team. This is the way many gritty (yet extremely talented!) teams win.
13 — WISCONSIN Recruits (1): No. 11 Ella Wrobel, 6-4 OH/RS, Plainfield North HS (IL), SPVB
Alright, so the Badgers “only” have one athlete committed (from the U.S., anyway). But Ella Wrobel is pushing the top-10 players overall now; just imagine her continued strength and court savvy within the next two years of juniors volleyball.
14 – LSU
Recruits (3): No. 30 Madeline Waak, 5-10 S, Katy HS (TX), Houston Skyline; No. 65 Brianna Anderson, 5-10 OH/L, Buchholz HS (FL), OTVA; No. 92 Alexis Roberson, 6-4 MB, Ridge Point HS (TX), HJV
Maddie Waak has been committed to the Tigers for some time and will fit well into what they’ve got going on in Baton Rouge. She has been one of the premier setters since a young age and we love to see her confidence grow as she learns the game at a higher level. Bri Anderson has been injured for some time but says her recovery is going well – slow and steady will set her up for long-term success. Alexis Roberson is the newest addition to the 2022 Tiger crew and gives this group some great size at the net.
15 – BYU Recruits (2): No. 25 Kate Prior, 6-5 MB, Boulder City HS (NV), Vegas Aces; No. 54 Eden Bower, 6-3 OH, Skyview HS (ID), Idaho Crush; Nataly Moravec, 6-1 OH, Hopkins HS (CT), Evergreen
Eden Bower, a recent Idaho HS State Champion, is one of many Bower girls to play at BYU, beginning with mother Caroline Bower and with Morgan and Whitney Bower as current sophomores for the Cougars.

Wow. She hits with some authority. Highlight reels should be banned for recruits. I mean, Wrobel is good, no doubt, but I think too often so many highlight reels get disseminated around volley talk, people then have high expectations and very rarely are players actually as good as their highlight reels make them out to be. I like what the Durhams are doing in the class of 2023. Putting FULL MATCHES available for view (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg3PYdLYfzqqsmPFf4Z6Big). Much better! Plenty of recruits could be doing this!
