Black Ink Tiers for the ACC - and this badly underestimates Pittsburgh.
Tier 1: 1. Notre Dame 2. Louisville 3. Florida State
Tier 2: 4. Pittsburgh 5. North Carolina 6. Clemson 7. Duke
Tier 3: 8. NC State 9. Georgia Tech 10. Virginia 11. Miami-FL 12. Boston College
Tier 4: 13. Virginia Tech 14. Wake Forest 15. Syracuse

I know GT didn't do so hot early last year but they pass the eye test well. They were Pitt's closest conference game all year.

They have 3 all-conference players returning plus a couple HM. The BI problem is they only have 1 senior ace along with 6 HM. Florida State hasn't updated their roster, so there may be some movement to occur? Taryn Knuth is All-Conference along with #9 senior ace. Add Jasmyn Martin who was 2nd team All-Conference and #16 senior ace (transferred from Minnesota) - and they are getting a lot of BI from those two players. They have 5 other senior aces on their roster including Freshman Sydney Conley.

Clemson has the offense to get to Tier 1, but I don’t know if they have the defense or coaching to get there. UNC could have gotten to Tier 1 had they not lost their transfer to Baylor.

Syracuse Looking at this list, it makes me wonder about job security in this conference. Notre Dame has vastly underperformed in relation to their recruiting rankings. North Carolina’s issues have been well-documented. I think Clemson is funded at a level where zero NCAA appearances is a disappointment. Is UVA just content with losing records every year? Miami seems to have regressed. I think next offseason could be interesting.

I would think UVA & Clemson will be given 1 maybe 2 more years.

Georgia Tech is so low because a lot of their success came from an international Brazilian freshman recruit.

I am curious to see which international players do/can come back. Anyone know if they could have trouble getting back into the US, given the situation?
